    UPSC is the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.It is the examination conducting body of India which conducts CDS examination also.

    So,the relation is that UPSC is responsible for conducting CDS examination.

    CDS stands for Combined Defence services examinations.

    The general eligibility criteria for CDS examinations is below.

    EDucational qualification: Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university.

    Age limitations:

    For INA:19-22 years.

    C.D.S Stands for Combined Defence Service Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year.

    The relation between CDS and UPSC is quite simple,UPSC is a body which conducts the CDS exams.

    It conducts the CDS exams twice a year.The exam consists of Written exam on passing it candidates

    give interviews,physical tests and undergo medical examinations for fitness,then candidate successful

    in all the above are selected.

    UPSC is a commission formed under the Article 315 of constitution of India.It consists of a chairman

    & 10 members.The major role played by UPSC is to select persons to man various Civil Services & posts

    and the services common to Union and States.For this it conducts various competitive exams at All

    India Level.It conducts exams like NDA & SCRA at underdraduates level and at Graduate level it conducts

    UPSC-stands for Union Public Service Commission-it is a body under the central government which is responsible for conducting various examinations like IAS,IPS,CPF etc.
    It is the body which is responsible for the selection of candidates for the different civilian services and for other services like armed forces etc.

    It conducts many exams
    CDSE-Combined Defense Service Examination-as the name suggests it is a entry in to the armed forces of India all the three wings i,e is army,air force and navy.
    The CDSE exam is conducted by the UPSC.

    But the exam is only conducted after the results are released,the candidates are called for the interview and for the fitness test.The process after CDSE is conducted by the respective forces that is by the army,air force and navy itself.

    The CDSE exam is the defence entrance exam .It is conducted by the UPSC.The CDSE means – Combined defence service examination and UPSC means Union Public service examination.

    The candidates who will complete graduation from the recognized college such candidates are eligible for the CDSE exam. The candidates who will have the mathematics and Physics at the Intermediate level such candidates are eligible for the any and Air force also

    UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. UPSC conducts many exams.CDS is also conducts by UPSC.

    REQUIREMENTS FOR CDS-

    AGE LIMIT-

    • FOR IMA- 19 to 24 years.
    • FOR INA- 19 to 22 years.
    • FOR AFA- 19-23 years.
    • FOR OTA- Male candidate(married or unmarried) 19-25 years.
    • FOR OTA - Unmarried women 19- 24 years.
    Other Requirements-
    • Candidate must be Indian civilization.
    • Candidate must be passed graduation.
