    Go through official websites of UPSC (www.upsc.gov.in).Understand the pattern of examination and download previous years question papers.Choose your optional wisely
    Develop a habit of reading newapaper The Hindu.Start preparing for preliminary examination first.
    For your convenience I am highlighting syllabus of preliminary examination
    Paper I(200 marks Duration 2hrs)
    1)Current events of national and international importance.
    2)History of India and Indian National Movement.
    3)Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.
    4)Indian Polity and Governance - Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
    5) Economic and Social Development Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc.
    6)General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change
    7)General Science.
    Paper II- (200 marks) Duration: Two hours
    1)Comprehension Interpersonal skills including communication skills;
    2)Logical reasoning and analytical ability
    3)Decision-making and problem-solving
    4)General mental ability Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (Class X level),
    5)Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. - Class X level)
    6)English Language Comprehension skills (Class X level).

    For the post of IAS you have to apply for Civil Services Exam that is conducted by UPSC every year. UPSC conduct Civil Services Exam every year.
    For Civil Services exam you need graduation in an stream with any percentage.

    Tips For Preparation:

    • first and most important Manage your Time table and maintain your self calm and Cool.
    • go ahead according to UPSC Syllabus.
    • you can start for UPSC by study 6th to 12th NCERT books and gather other Study material for Civil Services.
    • increase your general knowledge, continuous reading news papers and magazines, concentrate on English.
    • solving Previous year question papers is most requisite part of preparation.

    Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services:

    >>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.

    >>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.



    Limit Number Of Attempts:

    >>General category: 4 attempts

    >>OBC category: 7 attempts

    >>SC/ST category: No Limit

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. IAS exam is one of the prestigious exam conducted by UPSC for recruitment to various All India Services.

    Eligibility for IAS Exam:
    1. Educational qualification: Graduation
    2. Age Limit: for General - 21 year to 30 year , for OBC 21 year to 33 year , for SC/ST 21 year to 35 year.The upper age limit is also relaxed for certain other categories.
    3.For IAS the candidate should be a citizen of India.

    The eligible candidates apply for the exam through both online/ offline mode.

    The exam consist of 3 stages:
    1.preliminary exam
    2.Main exam
    3.Personal interview

    IAS is one of the difficult exam . in order to clear this exam candidates have to prepare well and also have the lot of the knowledge.


    IAS stands for the - Indian Administrative Services


    In order to apply for the IAS exam you have to first clear Graduation after the Graduation you are eligible to apply for the Exam. The candidates who are in the final year and also who have completed the Graduation such candidates are eligible for the Exam.

    >> The candidates have to be Indian citizen

    ## Syllabus for the Exam

    As the IAS exam concerned the Syllabus is the one of the important category . the candidates have to know or well familiar with the exam syllabus


    English
    general Studies
    candidates have to select one of the Indian language out of 18 languages It is the qualifying paper and also includes the 300 marks
    Optional Subject
    Civil Service Examination is conducted by the UPSC. every year this exams conducted. the Civil Service Examination has the three stages of the selection


    I -Preliminary Examination
    II - mains Examination
    III - Interview


    The candidates who will select in the Preliminary Exam such candidates only eligible for the mains Exam. The candidates selected in the mains exam such candidates called for the Interview at the New Delhi

    and be prepare you notes for success in
    IAS exam
    -After then you have to know source of study material of IAS
    -for this you can study 6-10 NCRT books
    which are best for IAS exam.

    aptitude books.
