    Where can I get best coaching for Civils Exam? Hyderabad, Tirupati or Bangalore? Being a B.Sc (2007) passed out am I applicable for Civil Services? What all subjects will be there in Civil Services exam?

    Hi There,
    I am B.Sc (MPC) Graduate from SV University. I have completed my Graduation on 2007. Currently i am working with TCS Banglore. I am very much interested on civils.

    Kindly advice me am i eligible to write that IAS entrance exams? Which is the Best institute for coatching in Hyderabad or Tirupati or in Banglore.

    Which are the subjects that i need ti prepare for that.

    Kindly explain me full details.

    You are eligible to apply in Civil Services if you are graduate from recognized university.

    You have asked for subjects that you need to study.
    There are 3 stages in Civil Services Examination

    Preliminary (CSAT)
    Main
    Interview

    CSAT Syllabus Consist Objective types questions on
    General studies (History, Geography, Politics, Economics and social development, General Science)
    English and Mathematical Aptitude etc.


    Main Examination Pattern

    The Main examination has these papers.
    1. Indian Language Qualifying Paper (300 marks)
    2. English Qualifying Paper (300 marks)
    3. General Essay type paper (200 marks)
    4. General Studies (Paper-I & II 300 marks each)
    5. Optional subject-I(Paper-I & II 300 marks each)
    6. Optional subject-II(Paper-I&II 300 marks each)

    IAS exam stands for Indian Administrative service which is conducted by UPSC.

    To join IAS exam,you will be passed a graduation degree from a recognized university.There is no percentage requirement.

    Your age should be between 21-30 years.Age relaxation is given to reserved category students.

    You must be Indian citizen.
