    IAS is one of the most reputed posts in india. It is a post of responsibilities wich one need to be specifically qualified and eligible for to hold up.
    so the process of becoming an IAS needs to be pretty hard in order to choose the right person for the post, because he or she can make important decisions which can affect the life of many.

    Dear Aspirant,

    -->> Your statement is wrong.

    -->> Only few people are not becoming IAS or IPS.

    -->> All the vacant posts are filled.

    -->> As per the vacant posts are declared in notification all are filled.

    -->> The real thing is that for approx 1000 posts yearly 4-5 lacs candidates are applying.

    ~So the competatives are very much~

    -->> For a very few post a huge number of competative makes the competation very high.

    -->> So why it is making you feel that a few candidates are selected.

    TO be an IAS & IES is very much proud of feeling. It is one of the highest job of this country. So there must be the SHARK are to be selected and they are the maker of the societies policy deciders. In one hand it is very tough to crack, but on the other hand not so hard. As it is a very rational job so everybody cannot be able to do this job properly.

    first of all, these exams are not on the university pattern. these exams are oriented to select candidates based on their merit, suitability, attitude and overall personality.hence the exam process itself takes 1 full year evaluate the candidates at different stages.your perseverance, consistency and organisation abilities are important in addition to hard-work.

    Dear friend,
    The two jobs posts you have been talking about here,that of an IAS and an IES,,are two of the most reputed posts at the centre.
    So the level of competitiveness is ought to be very high as every Indian candidate desires to hold posts of dignity as such.
    Also the level questioning,i.e. The papers set are very hard so as to choose the best suitable candidates from a whole lot,to give these posts to.
    Therefore,its justified for these exams to be being called tough and only a bunch of students being selected ,,
    But success is inevitable if you focus hard.
