    Will I be eligible for UPSC exams after completing bachelors degree from deemed university through distance learning?

    Sir,

    I am working with Indian ordnance factries. I would like to do the bachalor degree in mettulargical engg for the promotion and to appear UPSC exam. Sir please suggest that any deemed university (distance learnig) degree will be eligible for appearing UPSC exam.

    Dear,
    The essential qualification for the UPSC is to pass the Bachelor degree at any recognized university. The age limit is 21-30years for the UPSC CSAT examination. The upper age limit is 03years for OBC and 05 years for SC/ST candidates. The attempts of appearing the examination is 04 attempts for General candidates, 07 attempts for OBC candidates and unlimited attempts for the SC/ST candidates. So If your university is a recognized university and you fulfill the above said qualification, then you can apply for the UPSC examination.     Dear friend,

    yes you can.for appearing in upsc exams you should have a degree from recognized university.so check whether your university is recognized or not.your age should be between 21 to 30 years incase of civil services and 19 to 25 incase of cds exam.

    Dear,

    Yes sir you are eligible for the exam after complete the degree from the deemed university, if your university is approved or recognized by the ugc/aicet/state or center government approved.

    Because the upsc requirement in term of the qualification the candidate passed the graduation in any stream from the recognized university. Graduation in any stream and no condition for the graduation marks.

    The age limit for the candidate is the 21 to 30years for the unreserved category.
    For sc/st candidate 5 years and obc candidate 3 years age relaxation.

    This is very appreciable idea that you want to study further & apply for UPSC.

    You can do your bachelor degree in metallurgical engg through distance education.

    But make sure that you have a degree completed from any of the institutes established by an Act of Parliament or any University deemed by the University Grant Commission under section 3, Act, 1956.

    Also you are within the age limit of minimum 21 years of age and the maximum age is 30 years.

    -UPSC conducts various exams at undegraduate and graduate level.
    -At the undergraduates level one can apply for :
    NDA Exam-Age limit is 16.6-19yrs
    SCRA Exam-Age limit is 17-21yrs with relaxation for reserved category students.
    If you match the age criteria you can apply.
    -If you want to apply to exams like Civil Services,Engineering services,CDS,etc
    minimum qualification is graduation from a UGC recognised University and age
    limit is between 21-30yrs in general category and relaxation by 3yrs to OBC and
    by 5yrs to SC/ST candidates.
    -Distance learning courses and graduation from it are allowed only if the deemed
    University is recognised by UGC.Check about this and find out if the UNIV. is recognised.
    -Visit www.upsc.gov.in for more details.

    yes my friend,

    dear if the university from which you completed graduation is recognized then you can apply for the upsc exams,

    because upsc requires those candidates who completed graduation from a recognized university or those candidates who completed engineering from a recognized university,

    also along with that your age must lie in limits ,

    dear the age limits for the upsc exam is 21 to 30 years ,
    for OBC candidates age limit is 21 to 33 years.
    for SC/ST candidates age limit is 21 to 35 years.


    if you are eligible according to the above mentioned criteria then you are eligible for the upsc exam and you can apply for the upsc exam ,

    yes,you are eligible for the UPSC examination after completing your graduation from a deemed university but the condition is that your university must be approved from the DEC that is distance education council as the minimum requirement is graduation in any stream from a recognised university.


    Some other eligibility other than academic qualifications are :

    >>Your age must be between 21-30 years

    >>OBC:21-33 years

    >> sc/st: 21-35 years

    No of attempts :

    >>General: 4

    >>OBC: 7

    >>SC/ST: no limit.



    the examinations generally consists of three stages :

    Preliminary test.

    Main examination.

    personal interview.

    as you know graduation is the main eligibility to apply for the upsc examinations .

    so graduation in any stream or subjects form a recognized university
    will make you eligible to apply for the upsc examinations .

    as you have mentioned that you wanna complete your graduation through distance learning,
    this mode of graduation will also be eligible to apply.

    even as per the eligibility criteria for the upsc examination
    you can apply for the upsc examination while pursuing the final year of your course.

    the minimum age to apply for the upsc examination is 21 years .
    the age limit required for the different upsc examination varies form exam to exam.

    the eligibility criteria for the different upsc examination are given at the official upsc site www.upsc.gov.in

    the minimum qualification for the upsc exam is the person msut be graduate from any recognized univercity
    age limits and number of attempts for upsc exam is given below;-

    general-21 to 30 years-4 attempts
    obc-21 to 33 years-7 attempts
    sc/st-21 to 35 years-unlimited attempts

    Yes, dear you are eligible for UPSC Exam.

    It is not issue that you are regular or distance student

    Your university should be recognized by UGC.

    There is minimum educational qualification for UPSC Exam Graduation any stream from any recognized university.

    Age should be between 21-30 years

    Age relaxation for OBC 3 years, SC/ST 5 years and EX-Servicemen 5 years.

    Attempts

    For General 4
    For OBC 7
    For SC/ST No Limits

    Yes definitely you are eligible for UPSC Exams after completing bachelors Degree from deemed university through distance learning. You just need to be a graduate to appear for UPSC Exams.
