* Academic Qualification-
-> Candidate have to complete Class XII board examination with Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics Subjects form any central or state government recognized board.
-> candidate have to pass Class XII board examination in either first or second division.
-> Candidate who pass graduation in either Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics can also apply.
* Age limit-
-> Minimum age of the candidate must now below 17 years as on 1st August of the year of Exam.
-> Maximum age must now exceed 21 years as on 1st August of the year of Exam.
-> 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates.
-> 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
-> 5 years age relaxation for candidate who are domicile to Jammu and Kashmir.
* Nationality:
-> Candidate who are citizen of India or subject of Nepal or Bhutan can apply for SCRA.

Compartment students means you have some subject back in 10+2.
As you have back papers,you have not yet passed 10+2.
In order to apply for SCRA,it is important that you must have completed 10+2.
So you first clear your back paper,as the basic qualification for applying in SCRA is 10+2 passed.
After clearing 10+2 exam you will be able to apply for SCRA.
No a candidate can never apply for the SCRA if he or she is having compartment in class 12th examination because it rtequires a candidates passed class 12th in any stream with first or second division.
Or an equivalent examination of the university or board approved by the government of india with mathematics at least one of the subjects physics chemistry as a subjects of the examination.
Age should be 17 to 21 years for the same.
Examination pattern-
Part1 written test 600 marks in the subjects as given below-
Paper 1 general ability test( englsih, general knowledge and pshycological test 2 hours and 200 marks.
Paper 2 physical science physics and chemistry. 200 marks.
Paper 3 mathematics 200 marks.
Total marks 600 marks.
Paper 2 personality test carrying a minimum of 200 marks in respect of only those candidates who are declared qualified on the written test.

yes, you can apply for SCRA exam but remember that you have to show your original certificate of 12th at the time of interview. where i must show that you have cleared 12th.

for SCRA you must have completed or pursuing in 12th with Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry from recognized Board or college. for SCRA your age must be within 17 years to 21 years. there is also applicable relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST aspirants.

They never mentioned any criteria for the compartment. If you have completed then you are eligible to write The SCRA Exam

For that exam you have completed your 12th and also can apply in 12th.
It is compulsory that you pass your 12th in physics,chemistry and maths.
Your age must be under 17-21 years.

I am sorry to say but the candidates who have compartments in class 12th examination are not allowed to give the SCRA exam. You can only give this exam once you are a 12th class passed student and your age should also be in the age limit of 17-21 years. Therefore if you clear your compartment next year, then you will be eligible for giving the exam.

The qualification/eligibility required for SCRA examination are:
* Candidate passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from any recognized board.
* Minimum 55% is required in 10+2.
5% relaxation in marks is given to SC/ST candidates whereas no relaxation in marks is given to OBC candidates.
* 12 appearing candidates are not eligible for this examination.
* Age limit:
17-21 years (for General candidates)
17-24 years (for OBC candidates)
17-26 years (for SC/ST candidates)
You are not eligible for taking up this examination.
