Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Civil Service, Police Service Examination 2013

A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and final year pursuing candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination

Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen Category candidates

You belongs to Ex-Servicemen category then you will get the 5 years of upper age relaxation in the examination that is why you can apply for this examination till 35 years of age and there is no limitation for you to appear for examination means you can appear till 35 years of age

Dear government provides you and other reserved category candidates enough facilities which are really helpful for you and others too so that you all should get the profit of your category reservation and prepare hard for examination and if you prepare well only for one year for any UPSC examination then you can easily get qualified in the examination and may get the chance to face interview process and also may be qualified in the interview process also but you need to prepare well for each and every single section then you may get enough confidence for both exam and interview process and you should apply for UPSC civil service preliminary examination between these following dates

Start date for online application - 05-03-2013

Last date for online application - 04-04-2013
