There's a large difference between UPSC and CDAC. Here, I'm going to provide you the detail of both.

UPSC stands for Union Public service commission and provides civil jobs like in defense, Forestry department, Engineering department as you've mentioned about the test i.e. IES etc.

Eligibility for this is:

1. Candidate must be graduate in any stream from recognized university.

2. Must be citizen of India.

CDAC is related to the IT and software industry. If you can crack the IES exam then you can also get cleared in the entrance exam conducted by CDAC for various job posts.

But you've to give that entrance exam. On the behalf of IES, you can't get job there.

Eligibility:

1. For E & I Level: The candidate should have Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering from recognized University.

2. For D Level: Candidate must have bachelor degree or diploma in computer science.

3. For G Level: Candidate must have Engineering degree in CS/IT/Electronics,Telecommunication/Electrical or have Master's in Computer Application or M.sc(CS)/M.sc.IT, MCS,MCM from recognized university.
