SCRA- Special Class Railway Apprentice
Four year course in mechanical engineering at Indian Institute Of Electrical And Mechanical Engineering at Jamalpur.
The exam consist of written paper
General Knowledge,General abilities,reasoning,physical science.
Then a interview.
qualification required is 10+2 passed with 2nd division,along with physics and mathematics and chemistry.
17 years is minimum age and 21 years is maximum age.
Age relaxation to SC/St
OBC,Physically challenged people,inhabitants of kshmir.
Appointed as a officer in Indian Railways Services Of Mechanical Engineer.
At training provided stipend of rs.10000,for four year.
Limited number of posts and vacancies,approximately 10 to 12.
Applicants are many nearly 100000 to 1.5 lakhs.
NO COMMERCE STUDENTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE.
No commerce students are not eligible to give this exam.
To give this exam, you should have Maths, Physics and Chemistry as your subjects.
Required eligibility conditions for SCRA Exam are as follows:
Educational criteria: 10+2 with first or second division in maths, physics and chemistry.
Age criteria:

I am sorry to say but the people who are from the science field and having physics chemistry and mathematics as their main subjects in class 12th are the ones who are eligible for giving the SCRA examination.
Moreover for giving this exam, you also need to fulfill the age criteria, which states that your age should not be less than 16 years and not more than 21 years

I am sorry to say that, you are not Eligible for SCRA exam.
A Commerce candidates can not join SCRA exam.
To join SCRA exam, you must be passed 12th standard with pcm subjects.
Your age should be between 17-21 years. There is age relaxation for Reserved category candidates.
You must be Citizen of India.
SCRA exam consist three papers;-
General ability test which consist 200 marks.
Math which also Consist 200 marks
Physical Science which also consist 200 marks.
Syllabus based on 12th standard physics, math and Chemistry.

sorry a commerce student is not eligible for scra exam . but don't worry you can apply for other upsc exam don't take it on your heart and feel bad. after completing your graduation you can apply upsc exam, if you work hard then i am sure you will sure success

i am extremely sorry to say that being a commerce student you can't apply for SCRA exam. because for SCRA you must have completed or pursuing in 12th with Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry from recognized Board or college.
SCRA stands for Special Class Railways Apprentices Exam. The exam is conducted by UPSC every year. The exam is of Intermediate Level.
The candidates who clears the exam with high grade appointed for various posts in Indian Railways. Excellent pay is given to candidates who are appointed in Railways.
for SCRA your age must be within 17 years to 21 years. there is also applicable relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST aspirants.
