    Detailed information regarding syllabus, preparation, coaching institutes for Civil Services exam in Chennai?

    Hi
    I have completed my graduation lastyear. Currently working as a software engineer in Wipro.
    I have a dream to write civil services exams to serve my country.
    Could you please guide me wat are the syllabus that i need to prepare, how can i prepare from home, is there any institute that provides coaching during weekends, currently i'm residing in chennai it would be so helpful that can u tell me are there any coaching centers in chennai.

    you have advantage here is engineering background, so you can select optional subjecta as mechanical, electricalor civil. obviously it will be easy for you.
