What is EALP?

On this site we get a lot queries from people who want to know about UPSC - Union Public Service Commission. We introduced EALP so that members could answer the queries and earn money while doing so. This way, everyone gets benefitted. Askers get their queries solved. Answerers earn money and increase their knowledge while answering.

When does Earn and Learn Program (EALP) start?

Two sessions of EALP will be held every month. First sessions from 1st to 15th and second sessions from 16th to last day of the month.

After announcing the results of EALP, we give the winners a short online form to fill their details. Takes just a few minutes.

I am getting 5 points for every answer no matter the answer is good quality or average, why is it so? how to increase my points per answer?

Every new member starts with 5 points per answer. Our moderators will check everyones' answers' quality and increase or decrease their points based on that. So make sure that every answer you post is helpful and abides by the guidelines. It's easy to rank good by making few but great quality answers, just wait for the moderators to re-evaluate your points based on quality. Points re-evaluation is done at least twice a week.

So, don't worry about points, just concentrate on quality and helpful answers.


I am making good answers but I still see some members ranking higher than me even when they are not posting good answers. Why?

Don't worry about that. That's just temporary. They will lose points heavily when moderators check their answers for quality. You can also report a complaint to moderators if you find some member who is not following the guidelines.


Alright I am ready, what are the guidelines or rules?

• Do NOT copy paste anything from any site. We are going to be very strict about this.
• You can take references from other websites and search engines, but you still have to write your answer in your own words and only after proper researching.
• Answers should really be helpful and relevant to the question.
• Do NOT copy other members' answers.
• Do NOT link to other sites unnecessarily.

how can i start answering

since the website registration doesn't ask for the address of the user so, how the UPSC will pay the reward to the winner?

hi madhu, u should to learn ur basic thing adout ur exam & may i know which exam of upsc form are u filled

You can prepre upsc by preparing current affairs ,two subjects that you have chosen.you have to clear upsc pre which is an objective type paper then you can go for upsc mains.it is a tough procedure and you have to work hard for it.
To apply for upsc you must be a graduate.non med candidates can aplly for cds.12th passing students can apply for nda which is also through upsc.the forms are available in feb march for upsc online.

and all different -different held at various different schedule as decided by the commission

you can prepare upsc exam by taking cocahing classes. generaly it held in april or may month.it is pre examination.&you also know the dates of exam by u.p.s.c .gov.in website of upsc.

These websites have given opportunities to students , housewives ,unemployed people and the people who are interested in earning while learning to do so.

dear aspirantif u r really serious abt appearing for upsc then the 1st step would certainly be ur dedication, a consistent dedication and patience.. 2nd step would b to buy all d class Xth, XIth, XIIth ncert books relating to science, geography etceven Xth physical geography icse book (by anita prasad) is good indeed.3rd step would b developing the habit of reading newspaper..start of wid hindustan times then switch on to Hindu.4th step would b maintaining a diary entry for current affairs and ofcourse making notes of what u study..make a schedule for yourslf..dnt 4get to take breaks in between..it freshens up d mind..even brain needs to have some break..start off wid a slow pace just dont jump on things.. As d saying goes "slow n steady wins d race..."Notification comes between December- FebPT is conductd generally in d month of May,Mains is conductd generally in d month of OctoberInterview feb and marchBest of luck n do ur best...

first of all your rank will be determined on behalf of your gain points and EALP will announce the result , the commission will give the winners a online form to fill their details like postal address and mobile no. etc.
