IPS (Indian Police Services) Exam conduced by upsc through civil service exam.

Please check the eligibility for IPS:

Age :
For General candidate 21-30 years
For OBC Candidate 21-33 years
For SC/ST Candidate 21-35 years
For Ex-Servicemen 5 years relaxation

Qualification: Must be Graduate any stream from any recognized university.

Physical:

Height :

General 165 cms
Pahari and ST 160 cms

Chest:

84 cms. Expansion 5 cms

Eye sight:

Distant Vision: 6/6 or 6/9
Worst Eyes 6/12 or 6/9


So dear you can apply if you fulfill these conditions.

there is no heighest age relaxiation in ips exam,
if you belonging to obc category you have 3 years
sc/st category you have 5 years

Sir, I am a student of b.SC final year and want to mention that i am Bengali and i am born and bought up in Assam. In fact my fore fathers generation are residing in Assam for the last 70 years in Assam. But i am not a Assamese chap. Can i have the privilege to get the height relaxation for the IPS examination.
