If you want to join IAS then you need to apply for it and you can apply for it either in the final year of your graduation or after completing it and this can be done at www.upsconline.nic.in and the exam is held in 3 phases:

1.Prelims
2.Mains
3.Interview.

After clearing all these rounds you can placed into IAS and for more info visit www.upsc.gov.in

As you are currently in 3rd Year of B.Com, so you are not eligible for IAS Exam now.

You must be in Final Year of Graduation or Complete your Graduation to appear in CSAT Exam (IAS Exam).

For cracking this exam, you will have to pass three stages i.e.

>> Preliminary Exam

>> Mains Exam

>> Personal Interview

Age Limit:

For General: 21 to 30 years

For OBC: 21 to 33 years

For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

I think after your B.com graduation your career can mke in IAS bcoz for this field cretria should be reuqire following:-

1. Should graduate degree from recognized universtiy.

2. Should age between 21 to 30 yrs

3. Should be citizen of India.
