Sorry, you are not eligible for NDA exam.

Firstly for NDA exam candidate must be passed 12th in PCM and also can apply in 12th.

Candidate must be under 16.5-19 years.

So, your age is also not under required age criteria.

You can apply for SCRA :

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidate must be passed 12th and also can apply in 12th.

Candidate must be under 17-21 years.

Candidate must be citizen of India.

Male/Female both are eligible.

Because of your Age and stream you are not eligible to apply NDA exams.
Age limit 16.5-19 years and only science stream can only apply in NDA exams.

There will be no chance for the NDA examination for you as your age crossed the limit as 19 years is the maximum at the timeof commencement of the course, so you cannot apply for the same.If you like to join indian army then you have an option to join that.Only you need to do is complete the graduation in any stream and then apply for the CDS examination after the same.CDS stands for the combined defence services examination which is conducted twice in a year to select the candidates in three wings of defence-INDIAN ARMYAIR FORCENAVY are the wings.As per the qualification you can apply for the Indian millitary academy after the same.Age required to apply for indian millitary acdemy is 19 to 24 years.Other option will be officers training academy.19 to 25 years of age is required to apply for the same.Selection procedure for the CDS examination is Written test of objective type paper.SSB interview.Medical examination.for more details log on to www.upsc.gov.in thank you.

I am providing you the eligibility conditions to appear in the NDA exam.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. You must be a citizen of India or from Bhutan or Nepal or a Tibetan refugee who came to India befor 1st January, 1962.
2. You must be an unmarried male and must have attained the age of 16 years and must not exceed the age of 19 as on 1st january or 1st of July of the year in which you are attempting the exam.

I am sorry to say that you cannot attend the NDA exam with your age.

The requirment for NDA candidate age is.
Some 16 to 19 .
And your are 20 so you are not eligible for this.
But there is chance . If you want to became NDA officer then you should to complete engineering .
There is chance you directly selected in NDA .

& may be commerce for army

you may apply for scra exams
as the age limit is 17-21 yrs

Sorry you wont be able to apply for the NDA exam at the eage of 20 because the maximum permissible age for giving the NDA exam is 19 years. After that if you want to join the defence forces, you need to appear for the CDS exam. in CDS, the age limit is 19-24 years

The maximum age limit for appearing in NDA is 19years.You have crossed the age limit so you will NOT be eligible for NDA exam any more.If you are interested in Defence services,then you can complete your graduation and then apply for CDS exam.AS you are from commerce stream,you can apply for Army in CDS i.e. IMA and OTA.The maximum age limits for these are 24 and 25years respectively.

Students of Commerce stream can obviously give the NDA exam.........
But at present you are not eligible for this exam that is only because you have crossed the age limit.......
Here are the criteria for applying to the NDA exam.....
You must have passed your 12th...
Your age must be between 16.5 to 19 years....
You must be physically and mentally fit and unmarried........
You must be an Indian......

So, you are not eligible this time but you can still join the Indian Army by giving the CDS exam after completing your graduation..........

1. 16.5-19 years of age
2. No relaxation
3. Only Males candidate can apply
4. Only Indian citizen are eligible
5. Only unmarried candidate are eligible
6. Maths and Physics should be compulsory subject

So dear you have crossed the age limit and there is no relaxation in MBA hence you are not at all eligible for NDA now. But if you are that much interested in Defence then its better you go For CDSE exam after your graduation.

Eligibility of CDSE :-

Bachelor in Engineering
Final year student can also apply
Age 19-23

UPSC conducts NDA exam every year.

To be eligible for NDA exam , you should be -

12^th pass from a recognised board.

Your age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

You should be an unmarried male.

So, since you have crossed the upper age limit required for NDA exam, you cannot apply for the same.

However, you can apply for CDS exam, if you want to join Indian defence.

As you are 20 now, you are not eligible to give NDA Exam.

Below are the eligibility conditions for NDA Exam:

Educational qualification:

For Army: 12th pass from recognized board.

For Air force, Navy and Naval academy: 12th pass with physics and maths as subjects from recognized board.

If you are really interested in these services, you can give CDS exam, for which graduation from recognized university is needed.

So, after completion of your degree, you can give this exam.

Hi,

I am very very sorry to say that you cannot give the NDA exam.
To appear for this exam,you must fulfill the following criteria-

1)12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent
with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a state education board or
a university and also Students who are appearing in the 12th class
under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can
also apply for this examination.

2)Students who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried
males. They must be atleast 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years
on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the
exam.

Since you fail to satisfy both the above points,hence you cannot give the exam!

And the age is not less than 16.5-19 years.

If You are from commerce stream then you are not eligible for NDA.....

Eligibility for NDA:

You have to complete the Intermediate from any recognized university with maths as a compulsory subject.

And your age should in between 16.5-19 years.


So as a commerce student you are not eligible for NDA.............

The answer of first question
You can not apply for NDA at an age of 20.You must know that NDA is conducted in order to select candidates for air force,navy and army.The eligibility criteria for applying in the NDA is follows.

1)minimum qualification-10+2 with physics and maths for air force and navy and with any discipline for army.
2)age limit-16.5 to 19 years.
3)only unmarried male candidate are applicable.

Now you are not applicable for applying in the NDA as your age exceeds

The second answer-yes you would have been able to apply for NDA with commerce as per written in the first point for criteria of NDA,but it is your age which is providing you to do so.
