    Yes Surely you can..!!

For most of the exams of UPSC the educational eligibility criteria is to have a graduation degree from a recognized university.

The UPSC is Union of Public Service Commission and it conducts several exams for different posts like:-

    >>IAS:- Indian Administartive Service

    >>IES:- Indian Engieering Service.

    >>IFS:- Indian Forest Service

    >>ISS:-Indian Statistical Service

    >>IPS:- Indian Police Service

Re: Can I try giving UPSC exams after graduation?

Dear friend,Yes you can give UPSC exam after your Graduation. Its not a big issue. If you feel that you have not completed your syllabus in your last year so do not waste the attempt by giving the exam in your last year. Infact prepare for it Properly and then appear for the exam.I would advise you to make a study plan and then stick to it daily. If you can manage to do your preparation yourself Its well and good. But then If you feel that you need some guidance then I would suggest you to join a good coaching centre .They will give you a correct guidance towards your dream.Make a habit of reading Newspaper and magazines which will help you in your General Knowledge section. If you follow these steps then you will be surely able to crack the exam. Just do not hesitate to put in your hard work. Here below are the eligibility criteria which will clear your doubts regarding the eligibility:-All those candidates who have completed their graduation can sit for the exam. Also those who have not completed but are in their last year can sit for the exam. There is no restrictions on the stream of graduation.your nationality must be Indian.AGE LIMIT MUST BE FULFILLED BY THE CANDIDATES:-GENERAL- Only those who lie between 21 to 30 yrs of age.OBC- Only those who lie between 21 to 33 yrs of age.SC/ST- Only those who lie between 21 to 35 yrs of age.PH- Only those who lie between 21 to 40 yrs of age.

Re: Can I try giving UPSC exams after graduation?

    Dear Aspirant

Yes you are eligible for appearing in the civil services examination. It is one of the most prestigious examination conducted by UPSC.You may give it if you have interests and extremly desire to crack the examination.Civil service examination is conducted every year for selection of students for various service in the government.I am telling more about eligibilty criteria so that you do not have any confusion regarding your eligibility criteria

The minimum educational qualification fixed by the commission is graduate in any streams from a recognised university. So you need not to worry about your examination eligibilty criteria besides that when you have passed your graduation you have passed your minimum age limit of 21 years which satisfy also one of the eligoibility criteria fixed by the commission. But always remember that upper age limit has been fixed to 30 years. However it has been relaxed for different category as for OBCs it is relaxed by 3 years and for SC/ST it is 5 years.

You may also get other examination details like date of next examination and previous year question paper if you are planning to appear for examination next years from UPSC official websites (www.upsc.gov.in).Further you have any doubts you may ask your queries on UPSC discussions as proper planning and consisitency is the key to success for the examination.Guidance in right direction plays the most important role for the examination like this.

    Disabled ex servicemen 3 years.
    3 years for the OBC.
    10 years for the PWD.
    Examination pattern as follows-
Written test includes CSAT and mains.
CSAt stands for the civil services aptitude test.
In this stage a candidate needs to give two papers in a same day of 20 mars each so the toatl will be 400.
If you qualify the same then you can go for the MAINS exam.
Mains include 9 papers and its optional subjects that you need to choose for the same.
