For CDS both male and female can apply but they must fulfill the eligibility criteria. There are some condition that you have to fulfill which are given below.

As you must know that CDSE is a entrance for applying in the four different categories of defense sector.
~IMA-INDIAN MILITARY ACDEMY.
~AFA-AIR FORCE ACADEMY.
~NA-NAVAL ACADEMY.
~OTA-OFFICERS' TRAINING ACADEMY.

Now the biggest disappointment fact here is that as a female you are not applicable for the AFA,NA,IMA.

Yes it might come to you as a shock but it is true,you can not apply for the three sections,you are only applicable for the OTA.

The criteria for OTA is follows-

UNMARRIED WOMEN,WOMEN WHO ARE WINDOWS AND HAVE NOT REMARRIED,WOMEN WHO ARE DIVORCEES AND HAVE NOT REMARRIED ARE ELIGIBLE FOR APPLYING IN THE OTA.

So you are not applicable for applying in the three but you can apply for the OTA.

that comes under the combine defence services exam and you

can write the exam without any problem as for the ota the girls

are fully allowed and for ota their will be first a written test in which

your mental ability will be checked and after this their will be a ssb of 5 days

in which your physical as well as your mental ability will be checked

and this one will be the most tough task for you as for the

cds exam this task is most difficult so work hard if really serious about it.

There is no issue with the gender of the candidate when it comes to the applying in the CDSE exams,both the male and female candidate are applicable and have the same criteria for both.

off course female candidates also can apply for UPSC CDS EXAM.

CDS EXAM are taken by four department:-

1. AIR FORCE
2. NAVY
3. INDIAN MILITERY ACADEMY
4. OFFICER TRAINING ACADEMY.


but you should have to passed graduate from the recognized university.

age should be 19 to 22 years for navy.

age should be 19 to 23 years for air force.

age should be 19 to 24 years indian militery academy.

age should be 19 to 25 years for officer training academy.


you should be an indian.

Female candidates are eligible for the exam.
The eligibility criteria for the female candidate are same like as the male candidate.
Cds exam conduct two times in a year

The eligibility criteria for the cds exam
Under cds exam paper are taken by the four departmet
Air force
Navy
Indian military academy
Officer training academy
Eligibility criteria:-
Indian Military Academic age limit is: 19 to 24 Years
For Officer Training Academy age limit: 19 to 25 years
Naval age limit: 19 to 22 years
Indian air force age limit: 19 to 23 years
The qualification is required for the CDS exam is different-2 is like as:-

For Indian military academy graduation in any stream
For Officer training academy graduation in any stream.
For Indian air force graduation in science stream
For The naval graduation in science stream
In the nda exam female candidates are not eligible.
