IRS (Indian Revenue Service) officer is the 4th most respected officer of civil service after the IAS,IPS,IFS's.

Educational Qualification:
Graduation is the minimum qualification required to apply for IRS post.

Age:
For General minimum 21 year & maximum 30 Year on 1st August on the year of examination.
Upper age relaxed by other categories.

Other Eligibility:
The candidate should be a citizen of India.
To become an IRS officer one can qualified the exam conducted by UPSC.The aspirant for the exam through on line/ off line.

IRS stands for Indian Revenue Service. For IRS you will appear civil services exam.

Civil services is a exam for IAS , IPS, IRS post . this post are allotted to the candidate on the basis of merit list in the CSAT exam.
To become an IRS offices you must crack the CSAT exam's stage (Prelim, main, interview)

Eligibility Criteria is
Candidate must be graduate in any stream from recognized university
age of the candidate is 21 to 30 year,
3year age relaxation for OBC and 5 year relaxation for SC/ST candidate
candidate should be Indian

number of attempts-
general candidate- 4
OBC- 7
SC/ST- no limit

IRS stands for Indian Revenue Service. To get IRS post you have

to appear in Civil Services Exam that is conducted by UPSC every

year. It is divided int three parts and you have to clear all the parts.

Categories of Civil Services Exam:

1. CSAT
   
2. Mains
   
3. Interview
   

for applying you have to satisfy the required eligibility Criteria.

Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services:


1. You need to complete or appearing in final year of graduation

from recognized college or university with any percentage.


AGE LIMIT:


General Category: 21 to 30 years
OBC Category: 21 to 33 years
SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

you must have attained the lower age limit on 1 August of

the year of exam and you should not have attained the upper age

limit on similar date.
