    Hello Friend,

    Yes you can write all the mains papers in Kannada language except English paper and any other literature paper if you take that as your optional. English paper is only of qualifying nature. Its marks are not included in final total. You need to score ~40% to pass it.

    is it possible for a candidate to write an exam in kannada for all subjects in civil services exam? if yes please suggest good books for reading?
