Yes ,preparing for CAT and XAT MBA entrance examination could help you to crack the IAS CSAT Examination. CSAT, CAT and XAT are Objective type examinations. CSAT paper is divided into two parts Paper I syllabus General Science Current events of national and international importance History of India and Indian national Movement India and World Geography Indian Polity and Governance Economic and Social Development General Issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate chage Paper II Comprehension Interpersonal Skills including Comprehension Skills Logical reasoning & Analytical ability Decision making and Problem Solving General Mental Ability Basic Numeracy, Data Interpretation English Language Comprehension Skills CSAT PAPER -II has huge similarity with XAT and CAT MBA entrance examination. While prpearing for IAS examination CSAT (paper ii ) student may find himself preparing for MBA entrance examination. It is just that IAS aspirant need to prepare for paper I also Which is different from CAT and XAT preparation.
