    you are absolutely right
    you eligible to get age relaxation for all the upsc examination apart from
    the national defense academy examination and
    the special class railways apprentices examination

    as per the eligibility criteria for the upsc examination
    age relaxation is given to the candidates belonging to OBC,SC/ST categories as well as
    to the central government employees and the physically handicap candidates.


    the age relaxation for the OBC aspirants is of 3 years
    the age relaxation for the SC/ST aspirants is of 5 years
    the age relaxation for the physically handicap aspirants is of 10 years
    the age relaxation for the central government employees is of 5 years over the category.

    as per the details you have mentioned
    the age relaxation for you will of 5 years as you are an sc aspirant
    also you are an central government employee you will be awarded
    an age relaxation of 5 years more for the upsc examinations .


    so the total age relaxation you will get for the upsc examination will be of 10 years.

    most of these upsc examination are graduation based examination means
    these examination require graduation as the basic educational qualification to appear for these examinations .

    being a graduate you can apply for the examination such as
    combined defense services examination
    civil services examination etc

    notification for these examination are released by upsc on
    the official upsc website www.upsc.gov.in


    you can check the notification of the desired examination from there and
    apply for the examination before the due date of fill the application forms.

    AGE LIMIT IN UPSC EXAMS:-

    age should be 21 to 30 years.


    AGE RELAXATION:-

    for obc 3 years.

    for sc/st 5 years.

    for ex-servicemen 5 years.

    for ph 10 years.


    QUALIFICATION:-

    you should have to passed graduate / appearing final year from the recognized university.

    you should be indian.

    in UPSC Civil Services Exam there is total 5 years of relaxation in

    upper age limit for SC category candidates. and there is 5 years of

    relaxation for central government employ. so for you there is

    combined 10 years of relaxation in upper age limit.

    Eligibility Criteria for you in Civil Services Exam:

    Graduation from recognized college or university.

    Age Limit: your age must be within 21 years to 40 years on 1

    August of the year of exam.

    Limit number of attempt: within age limit you can apply for the

    exam in any number of times.

    Well dear in upsc exams for sc candidate five years of age relaxation is provided.you can apply for these exams 5 years more than other candidate and as far as attempt there is no limit for sc candidate hence you can apply for these exams as many times as you want.

    Hello Dear,

    There is no relaxation for government job employee. the relaxation give only category candidate OBC, SC/ST and PH. this relaxation are give in the upper age limit.

    Age of the candidate should be 21 to 30 year.
    candidate who are belong from OBC category can give this exam at the age 21 to 33 year
    candidate who belong from SC/ST category can apply this exam at the age 21 to 35 year

    candidate who belong from PH category can apply this exam at the age 21 to 40 year

    In UPSC being a SC and Central Govt employee there is no separate weightage/relaxation for AGE/ATTEMPTS etc you are to compete UPSC civil services like for IAS/IES/IFS/IRS equelly with other usual candidates.

    Eligibility:
    ***Minimum graduate from a recognized University


    *** Age relaxation:21-30 for GEN.21-33 for OBC.21-35 years for S.c/S.T

    ***Attempts: For gen: 4 and OBC 7 availaable.S/C & S/T: No limit.

    UPSC board provides following age limitation and relaxation in upper age for UPSC Civil Service Exams :

    Age Limitation : Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen category candidates and relaxation for Widow, divorced, separated female candidates as per government guidelines.

    Educational Qualification : Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and final year pursuing candidate are also eligible to apply for UPSC Civil Service exams

    If you have above mentioned qualification and you are under 35 years of age then you may apply for upcoming UPSC civil services exam between these following dates :

    Start date for online application : 02-02-2013

    Last date for online application : 04-03-2013

    Date for UPSC civil services exam : 19-05-2013

    You are a government employee and belong to SC category so that you can apply for this exam till 35 years of age and if you will apply then you can not go for coaching institute to prepare for preliminary exam and to prepare for your prelims exam i have write the names of some books to prepare for this prelims :

    Hello,

    For SC candidates, UPSC gives 5 years as age relaxation. So, you are eligible to give UPSC exams till 35 years of age. The number of attempts are UNLIMITED for SC candidates.
    You haven't mentioned in which deptt you are working, so it will difficult for me to give any information on age relaxation based on your employment status.
