Hello,Yes you can,not necessary to join coaching centerYou can do preparation for this exam at homeyou must watch news channel dailyyou must read newspaper and magazineyou must read related books you should solved previous question paper.But you can prepare only for your preliminary exam but you can not prepare for your mains exam and interview process so that the coaching institute is important for each and every civil service.Coaching centre provide study materials which helpduring last minute revision andalso provide memory techniques which is a smart way of studying Good luck.......

So, if you are aspiring for the Civil Services, you have to be persistent and hard working. You should update yourself with developments across the world. You have to read magazines that can help you improve your knowledge and aptitude. Practising with model question papers will help you pick up speed. Coming to whether you should seek coaching or not, time and again, Civil Services aspirants have proved that it is an individual choice. Several Civil Services aspirants have cracked the Civil Services Examination in a single attempt without taking any coaching. It was possible because of their confidence, self-motivation, determination and persistence. So, if you have a track record of achieving your goals without much external support, you may try taking Civil Services Examination without any coaching. Dear friend if you have the confidence and knowledge sufficient to crack the IAS then coaching is not definitely right for you without coaching you can crack the exam.Rather if you feel you are week then certainly if time and economic condition permit you simultaneously if you have the passion for Civil Services preparation well then without hesitation you contact with the coaching centter. According to paqst record of the Institution about the crackers in civils you can proceed to take admission to that coaching centre.Total time you should alloted for civils not less than 10 months or 1000 hours. Several Civil Services aspirants have cracked the Civil Services exam in single attempt without any coaching. It is possible because of their confidence, self motivation, determination and persistence. so, if you have track record of achieving the goal without external support then go for preparation without coaching. if you attend coaching center you may interact with like minded people, understand their perspective and take tips from their learning style. the competitive environment keep up your motivation level. on the other hand in home study you have the privileges to study at any time which is convenient to you. Dear Friend To crack the Civil Service Exam you would be work hard It is not necessary to join coaching center You can do preparation for this exam at home you must watch news channel daily you must read newspaper and magazine you must read related books you should solved previous question paper you may help your friends about this examination. you must spent you time more and more at the study Best of Luck

Can't I prepare for it on my own? hi if you have confident in yourself and you know that you can do it without any other source then friend,yes its possible you can be success without taking any coaching. few tips= chosse the subjects which is familar to you or in which you feel confortable so that it will held you to create interest and with in the short spam of time,you would be able to complete the maximum subjects. -make time management so it would be very helpful during the exam hours . -read magzines and newspapers and liston news,so that you will be updates for the current affairs. -practice problems from the old model papers. -generate good english grammer by reading books and magzines. -refer question bank or model book published by arihant,aggarwal publication. wish you good luck thank you

Study smart. Advantage of coaching: 1. Coaching paves a proper path for preparation of exams. 2. They provide study materials which help during last minute revision. 3. They also provide memory techniques which is a smart way of studying. Now, judge yourself on the aforementioned points & see if you can manage without coaching.

But IF you do not get more time with your duty then you must go with coaching class to get chance in civil services. If you prepare yourself then follows the following study pattern: First Three Months: - Read daily newspapers (1 Hour), Name of New Papers are Time of India, Indian Express, The Hindu etc. - Prepare for General Paper with (1 and half hours) - Prepare for Elective I with 1 hour - Prepare for Elective II with 1 hour After three month you must increase the study hours One month before examination you must study near about 14-15 Hours. If you join the Coaching Centers, then they give you more proper idea regarding the preparation of Civil Service Examination. Attachment 8859 General Eligibility Criteria for Civil Services: - Completed Gradation or appearing the final year of graduation - Nationality must Indian - Age limit between 21 years to 30 years; OBC candidates having 3 years age relaxation, SC/ST candidates having 5 years of age relaxation.
