UPSC exams are the backone of our country and the toughest due to which it is prestigious and respectable.

The list of all examinations conducted by the union public service commission in this year (2012) with their tentative dates about registration,examination etc is given in

First of all you have to clear in which exam you want to know about the job opportunities. IES, IAS, IFS or IPS exams.

For IAS/IPS exams you can get the job of Indian Administrative Service like DC Deputy Collector or DM deputy Magistrate and for IPS you can get Superintendent Of Police i.e. SP etc.
For IES examination you can get the job of Railway Engineering Stores, Central Engineering Services etc.
For SCRA you can go for the Railway Apprentice Examination.


The duration of exam of UPSC for IAS/IPS is as follows:
Date for filling up application: 5 March 2012 Approx February-March Month.
Date of Notification: 4 Feb 2012 Approx February Month.
Date of Examination:
For Prelims 20 May 2012 Approx May month.
For Mains 5 October 2012 Approx October Month.
