No, you are not eligible for upsc exam. For upsc exam your graduation must be

complete and you can also apply upsc exam in last year of your graduation.

Eligibility criteria -

• Candidate must be complete your graduation.
• Candidate should be Indian.

Age limits -

• For general - 21-30 years
• For sc/sc - 21-33 Years
• For obc - 21-35 Years

But you have another choice -

You gives the NDA Entrance Exam. Eligibility criteria are given below -

• Your age must be between 16.5-19 years
• PCM subjects are Compolsory in 12 th.
• Condidate must be Indian.

Yes you can apply for NDA and SCRA exam which is conducted by UPSC every year for students who are in 12th with PCM as their main subject.However your age limit should lie between 16-19.5 yearsfor NDA and for SCRA 17-21 years of age in order to apply for UPSC.But in order to apply for other exams conducted by UPSC like civil service examination,combined defence services,Engineering services exam,IES/ISS etc you need to be graduate from any recognised university in any stream .Besides this you will also have to be minimum of 21 years of your age.

You are eligible for some exams and for some you can only sit for the exam after you complete your graduation.

After 12 th exam you are eligible for NDA and SCRA.

*** You must have completed your 10+2 from a recognised school board.

*** You cam also appear for the exam If you are in 12th class.

You must be an Indian .

Age limit for GENERAL candidates would be 21---30 years

Age limit for GENERAL candidates should be 21---30 years

Age limit for OBC candidates should be 21---33 years and 21-35 for SC/ST.

Since ,you are 12th completed,you can apply for NDA or SCRA exam.

For NDA you need to have passed 12th and age limit should be 16.5-19years.If you have Physics and Maths at 12th,you can apply for all the 3 wings under NDA i.e. -Army,Airforce and Navy..If not,then you can apply for only ARMY as it requires you to have passed Intermediate from any stream.Only male candidates are allowed for NDA.
For SCRA you should have passed 12th with PCM as combination of subjects.Your age limit should be 17-21years.Both male and female candidates are eligible.

No you can't apply for all of the exams in UPSC.
You can apply for NDA and SCRA exams after your 12th.

For SCRA exam eligibility criteria is:-

The age limit for the SCRA exam is 17 to 21 years.
Only unmarried male candidate is eligible for this exam.
Female candidate are not eligible for the exam.
He should have passed 12th from the recognized university with science.

Eligibility criteria for NDA is:-

The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
The candidate must be an unmarried male.
The candidate must be passed/appeared in 12th Science with a recognized university.
The candidate must be medically fit.
He must be in between 16.5-19 years.

You can apply for these 2 exams only.
You can't apply for the other exams of SCRA as they need graduation degree completion students.

Only NDA and SCRA exams you can give after your 12th and not others.

To apply for the NDA and SCRA:-
The age limit for the SCRA exam is 17 to 21 years.
Only unmarried male candidate is eligible for this exam.
He should have passed 12th from the recognized university with science.

You can't apply for the exams like IAS,IPS etc.
These posts needs graduation degree.

Your age should be:-

General= 21-30 years
OBC=21-33 years
SC/ST= 21-35 years.

These are the eligibility criteria for the UPSC exams for other high posts like IAS,IPS etc.
So you fall in the criteria then you can apply for others also.

YOU CAN GIVE ONLY THE TWO EXAMS CONDUCTED BY UPSC AFTER 12.

The two exams are NDA-the criteria is 10+2 passed ,age limit-16.5 to 19 years.
SCRA-the criteria is 10+2 passed ,age limit-17 to 21 years.

The NDA is a entrance exam for the entry in the defense sections of the country,that it is a common entrance for all the three wings of the defense.
For applying in the air force and navy,the candidates must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent exam to 10+2 with physics and maths and with any stream for army.

The SCRA is a entrance through which candidates get selected for the undergraduate program in mechanical engineering in the Indian Railway Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering,Jamalpur,so that after completing their graduation they get the post of officers in the railway organization of India.The candidates must have passed the 10+2 with mathematics and any one subject among physics and chemistry.

Railway (SCRA) and Defence (NDA & NA ) are the two entries which you can opt after your 10+2.

There has been a advantage and disadvantage associated with it ..

I will suggest you to go into your respective field only if you are keenly interested ....

You can wait for some time and do your graduation (if you can , without any issues) then go for it ..

you will get some time to understand your likings , your interests and then apply accordingly ...

Dont force or restrict yourself at this age .. you just gotta bloom yourself ... and work on youself .

that will make you a better individual .. and in turn will help you in your career also ..!!!

• If you are thinking to give the exam for IAS, IPS or CDS with 12th qualification, then sorry to say but you are not eligible as minimum qualification for the exam required is graduation.
• With the 12th qualification you can only give NDA and SCRA exam.
• But since you are an commerce student, you are not eligible for the SCRA.
• Even in NDA exam, you are eligible for army wing only but not eligible for Navy and air force.

For Air force and Navy you must have 10+2 with physics and maths.

For NDA exam your age must be 16 � to 19 years and should be unmarried male and Indian citizen.

There is a objective type paper that you have to give and if you clear the objective type paper then you will be called for SSB interview which is of 5 days duration .

yes, you can appear for UPSC's SCRA and NDA examination. But the qualification is that you have to pass the 10+2 examination in science stream only at any recognized university/Board. Well friend, Since you have completed 12th so you are eligible for only quite few examinations of UPSC.

Those are :

>> SCRA

NDA will take you into Army and stands for National defense academy

SCRA stands for Special class railways appreny=tics

UPSC is The Union Public Service Commission is the central agency authorized to conduct the some of these examinations :

No you cannot appear for UPSC civil services exams after passing 12th


Minimum educational qualifications is graduation pass
Min age to apply is 21 years
max age to apply is 30 years
OBC candidates gets 3 years age relaxation
SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

4 attempts for general candidates and 7 for OBC candidates

After 12th pass you can appaer in the UPSC NDA exams maxa ge to apply is 19 years

You have passed Intermediate So, you are eligible for some posts in Union Public Service Commission like:

-->Special class Railway Apprenties examination.

-->National Defense Academy(NDA-II)

-->Naval Academy Examination(NAE-II).

Age Limits:16 1/2 to 19 years for above examinations.

My suggestion is complete your higher studies while applying competitive examintions because it leads to get more chances in posts in UPSC like Civil Services,Engineering Services,Indian Police Services,Indian Forest Services etc.,

If you are appearing in 12th with science subjects such as Physics and Math then you can apply for UPSC NDA and SCRA exams while appearing in 12th or after completing 12th.

Age Limit:

1. For NDA: 16.5 years to 19 years.
2. For SCRA: 17 years to 21 years.

But if you complete your graduation you can apply for various UPSC exams like Civil Services, IES, CPF, CDS, IFS etc.

1.NDA




>>National Defence academy.

>>The examination for this academy is organised by UPSC (union public service commission) for the three wings of defence that is
