You should first clear a preliminary exam which will help you to attend main exam also. Those who are selected in written test will have to clear Physical Test and Personal Interview to get in to this postEducational Eligibility :>>You must be Completed agraduation degree from anyrecognized university with any discipline.>>Your graduation marks must be above 55% for custom officer exam.Age Limit:>>Your must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years.>>Age relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/OBC candidate .>>For Sc/ST candidate have age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC candidate it is 3yearsgood luck.....

Yes, through Join civil service or IRS you can make career in customs department. And no any other course for it you can attempt only civil or IRS post for this department. If you join it through UPSC. You have fill online application through its procedure you have to complete three step.

1. Prelims Exams.
2. Mains Exams.
3. Interview.

After completed these process you will get proper training through UPSC for customs department.

i have no experience whatsoever but have always been fascinated with customs and the goings on. how do i go about gaining experience or getting involved in perhaps taking the road to a career in customs. is there courses. do they offer training. who could i contact for more information
