Sorry to say but you can not...

Because you have to be graduate for CDS...

By appearing in CDS you can enter in following:

Indian Military Academy
Indian Air Force Academy
Naval Academy
Officer's Training Academy

you have to follow some criteria:

Min Graduation is Required
age: 19-25 years

So overall conclusion: you are not eligible

Eligibility Criteria for CDS - Combined Defense Services Exam 2013

If you have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and your age is between 19-24 years then you can apply for CDS - Indian Army sector jobs

If you have a bachelor's degree with mathematics and physics as a compulsory subject any one of the - Biology/Chemistry/Computer Science and your age is between 19-22 years then you can apply for Indian Navy and 19-23 years for Air Force sector

You are pursuing second year of your degree so that you are not eligible to apply for this exam but you would be eligible to apply for this exam after completing your second year and comes in final year of the degree and you may be eligible to apply for next UPSC CDS - II exam which is scheduled as following :

1. Start date for online application - 25-05-2013

2. Last date for online application - 24-06-2013

3. Date for UPSC CDS Phase II exam - 08-09-2013

Hello,
Sorry friend but you cannot apply for CDS Exam right now, since you do not satisfy the eligibility criteria. You can apply for it in your final year or after graduation.
The eligibility criteria for CDS Exam are as follows:
Nationality:
The candidate must be Indian.

Age Limit: Male candidates (Unmarried) of age between
(i) For IMA: 19-24 years.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: 19-22 years.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: 19-23 years.
(iv) For OTA: Male candidates (married or unmarried) of age between 19-25 years.
(v) For OTA: Unmarried Women of age between 19-24 years.

Educational Qualification:
(i) For I.M.A. and OTA: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Final year students can also apply.

Second year student cannot apply for cds exam .Only those candidates who are in graduation final year or who completed graduation.You can only apply for Officer's Training Academy and Indian Military Academy because you have no PCM subject in graduation.
OTA age limit - 19 to 25 years.
Both male and female are eligible for this exam.
IMA age limit - 19 to 24 years.
Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
Fees - free for SC/ST or Female
For Obc and General - Rs 200.

You can't appear the CDS exam while perusing 2nd year of your degree. because graduation is the minimum eligibility for this exam.

when you are appearing final year o this exam then you can apply for CDS exam.

Eligibility For CDS exam is

A candidate should be completed graduation with subject maths and physics
candidate who are appearing final year exam are also eligible

Age limit

Indian Military Academic 19 to 24 year
For Officer Training Academy 19 to 25 year
For Naval 19 to 22 year
Indian air force 19 to 23 year

No you cannot apply to CDS exam while studying in 2nd year B.Sc(Biotechnology).

You have to finish your graduation to be eligible to apply to CDS exams.
At the most you can apply in your final year of graduation on provision.

CDS stands for COMBINED DEFENSE ACADEMY . ITS CONDUCTED BY UPSC twice in a year.

CDS EXAM has 4 department:-

1 . indian navy
2. indian air force
3. indian militery academy
4. officer training academy.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CDS EXAM:-

> you should have to passed graduate / appearing final year from the recognized university.

> age should be 19 to 22 for INDIAN NAVY.

> age should be 19 to 23 for INDIAN AIR FORCE.

> age should be 19 to 24 for INDIAN MILITERY ACADEMY.

> age should be 19 to 25 for OFFICER TRAINING ACADEMY.

> you should be an indian.


SO DEAR YOU CAN SEE CLEARLY THAT YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR CDS EXAM BECAUSE YOUR IN 2ND YEAR SO YOU SHOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR SOME TIMES.

THEN YOU CAN APPLY.

Eligiblity:-

the besic requirement of upsc is the person must be graduate fom any recognized univercity and age shoub be in between 21 to 30 years.
