Hello

The UPSC does not hold many exams for entry in to the railways.

There is a special board for the railways which take care of the recruitment in to the Indian railways.It is called Railway Recruitment Board and there is only one exam that is conducted by UPSC for entry in to the railways.

It is called SCRA(Special Class Railway Apprentice)-The SCRA recruit candidates for the graduate program in the Mechanical engineering at the Indian Railway Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Jamalpur.After their course is completed they are appointed at the highest level officers rank in railways.

The criteria is that the candidates must have completed their 10+2 with mathematics and any one of the subject between physics and chemistry.
Age limit-17 to 21 years.

Hi,If you want railway job in you have to crack SCRA means Special Class Railway Apprentices through UPSC so for get for this post you will have to apply for it. Through UPSC site and for it you should havebelow criteria:-Eligibility Criteria:-1. Should be 12th passed from recognized Board.2. Age should be 16.5 to 19 yrs.3. Should be citizen of Indiagood luck....

Hello,

You can get into railways as engineer by cracking IES exam. You will become Grade A officer if you manage to crack IES exam.

Eligibility Criteria:-

1. Should be engineering graduate.
2. Age should be 21 to 31 yrs. (open category)

dear, according to me you should get railway job in SCRA through UPSC so for get for this post you will have to apply for it. Through UPSC site and for it you should have below criteria:-

Eligibility Criteria:-

1. Should be 12th passed from recognized Board.
2. Age should be 16.5 to 19 yrs.
3. Should be citizen of India.

Hello,If you want job in railway as engineer you will have to qualify SCRA exam conduted by UPSCelegiblety criteria:-1).The educational qualification for the examination is 10 2 from a recognized board/university2).The age must be in between 17 and21 yearsgood luck.....
