Yes, you are eligible for the exam because you are a final year student and every final year student are eligible for the exam provided you are from age 21 to 30 years and your nationality as indian

Upsc stands for the union public service

And upsc is conducting the very much reputed exam

For Ias And The Ips

Ias Stands for the Indian Administrative Services

And on the other hand Ips For the Indian Police Service

And for the upsc exam the candidate should be pass in graduation from a

Recognized Indian university Or a Either a final year student can

Also apply for the exam as final year student allowed for the exam

And the age required for the exam is for the general is 21-30

And for the obc their is relaxation of 3 years

And for the sc/st of 5 years

As you are degree student so first either complete degree

Or you can apply in final year too

Also The exam is conducting normally in may or june

And forms out in either feb. or march

The age limit is for general category is 21 to 30 years. And attempt the exam 4 times.

The age limit is for obc category is 21 to 33 years (3 years relaxation). Attempt the exam 7 times.

Age limit for SC/ST category is 21 to 35 years and attempt chance till overage. Means unlimited

Yes, you are eligible to apply for the UPSC's CSAT examination, as you are in the final year examination in 2013. There is no need of percentage as the only Bachelors degree in any recognized University is essential qualification for it. The UPSC publishes the advertisement on December or January. And the examination will be held in the month of May or June. So you have to apply online for it by visiting the website www.upsconline.nic.in where you can click on ORA and then register your email and date of birth. Yes you are eligible for writing the exam in 2013 .Because you are in the final year in 2013 and every final year student can also eligible for applying the exam .The criteria for the exam is below :-> one should done their graduation from any recognized university with minimum 60% marks for general cast , 55% for other cast .-> A final year student can also eligible for applying the exam .-> age limit is 21-30 for general cast , 3 years relaxion for obc , 5 years relaxion for sc/st/ex-serviceman / physically handicapped .-> maximum 4 attempts are allowed for the general cast , 7 for obc cast and no limit for the no of attempts for the sc/st cast .The exam pattern is below :1) preliminary exam2) main exam3) interview The final selection based on the marks available in the main exam plus interview .Preliminary exam consist two papers and one should pass this exam for qualifying for the next round .Main exam consists 9 descriptive type paper 1-Any language 2-english3-essay4&5-general study6&7-optional subject-18&9-optional subject-2The first two papers marks are not considered but one should pass this two paper compulsory .So according to above criteria you can apply for the exam .The syllabus for the exam will be upto graduation level .for more details visit the UPSC site .

I am doing 2nd year bachelors of socialwork (BSW) in mcc. Am i eligible to write upsc exams in 2013(i.e- in may 2013 i will get my results for my last semester in bsw degree) . When are the upsc exams conducted? when shouls i apply and how to apply to write group 1 exams.From where i come to know about syllabus.I request you to guide me.
