See...my friend UPS C is a not a minor exam and UPS C provides different posts at different division i.e., if you cleared the UPS C exam then you will get different options in your career for example ... you might to be eligible for IES,IPS,IFS,CDS,IAS and different technical posts that you can gain and also it provides permanent positions and short term position you have to choose particular post that you have need that is your wish.....in above you did not mention about your qualification any way you must be a graduate to attain the UPS C exam....be prepare with positive manner then you are sure to get the particular post in that any way my friend all the best....

if u clear the exam upsc ias then u got the ias post, ips post, and other post which held in the civil service.

if u clear the cds exam then u got the post in Indian army, air force, Indian navy.

in ies exam u got the engineer post.

nda exam u got the position in indian army.

After you clear the UPSC exam you will get the post like District Collector , Commissnor , Assistant Commissnor , Deputy Collector , Foreign Minister etc.
If you clear the NDA or CDS exam then you will get the post in army , navy or air force .
If you clear the IES exam then you will get the post of Engineer .
If you clear the SSC exam then you will get the post in drug inspector , railway etc .

Dear, Following are the posts through which you can get after clearing UPSC EXAMS:- 1. After clearing NDA & CDS - You'll get the Rank of "Lieutenant" 2. After clearing Civil Services You got following posts on "Merit " basis:- You'll get the posts of "IAS/IFS/IPS and other Gazetted Ranks in civil Deptt." 3. After Clearing IFS- you'll get the post of "Assistant Conservator of Forest" 4.After Clearing CPF - you'll get the post of "Assistant Commandant" 5. After clearing IES - you'll get the post of "Assistant Executive Engineer" and many more Gazetted Ranks, where people will obey you and you'll order them. Good Luck...

Different posts will requre different educational qualifications, however I am providing different posts through the UPSC as follows:
IAS/IPS/IFS/IES
NDA, CDS, MEdical officer, SCRA
Professors/Associate professor/Asstt. Professors
DIrectors in various organizations ets.
Asstt. Commissioner etc. For other details you go on UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in
