Examination Pattern for IFoS - Indian Forest Service Exam 2013

There would be 6 papers conducted in this exam which are following as :

Paper I - General English - 300 Marks

Paper II - General Knowledge - 300 Marks

Paper III and IV - Any Selected Subject from the list - 200 Marks each

Paper V and VI - Any Selected subject from the list - 200 Marks each

You may choose any two subjects from the following list for exam

Agriculture
Agriculture Engineering
Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
Botany
Chemistry
Chemical Engineering
Civil Engineering
Forestry
Geology
Mathematics
Mechanical Engineering
Physics
Statistics
Zoology

Dear all the papers conducted in conventional type format and you will have to qualify each paper to get the call for interview process means there is no criteria about the objective type multiple choice questions and if you reach to the interview process then that would be your final step to get the services

Interview process : Interview process has 200 separate marks and selection would be done on the basis of the performance for exam and interview process so that you should prepare hard.

PAPER-II G.K.
PAPER-III, PAPER-IV, PAPER-V, PAPER-VI INCLUDES ANY 2 SUBJECTS FROM LIST OF OPTIONAL SUBJECTS

(B) INTERVIEW

each zoology paper consists of two sections having 4 questions each(total 8) where question 1 and 5 are short answere type and compulsory,rest any three question can be attempted provided atleast one other question is taken from any section ,and two from other,thus section A or section B,NEED TO BE ANSWERED THIS WAY IF 3 ANSWERES FOR SECTION a THEN ONLY two need to be answered from B section or vice versa!
