    Main Exam Pattern :-

    Opting a optional subject is important thing in CSE ( Civil Service Examination ) because it is full of theory paper and it is consist of 1200 Marks . To clear main exam , you have to compulsory clear the optional subjects , Indian Language paper and English papers . These paper are very important in the UPSC Main examination .

    UPSC Main examination can be divided into Nine papers and there is two optional papers . Optional paper consist of 24 subjects in different streams .

    UPSC Main Subjects :- Agriculture , Animal Husbandry & Vetinary Science , Anthropology , Botany , Chemistry , Civil Engineering , Commerce & Accountancy , Economics , Geography , Geology , Indian History , Management , Mathematics , Mechanical Engineering , Medical Science , Philosophy , Physics , Political Science & International Relations , Psychology , Sociology , Statistics , Zoology .

    If you are interested Veterinary Science then opt the first subjects and choose the second subjects like Indian history , Mathematics , Geography , Statistics , Political Science & International Relations .

    UPSC Main Process will be :- first they correct the Indian Language and English Paper because these papers are qualifying papers in UPSC examination . if you are passed then only they corrected the remaining papers . So be careful while appearing in the main examination . Mostly it is difficult stage in CSE process , if you are cleared then you are called for the Main examination . Mostly Main examination will be conducted in the month of Oct .

    Dear Aspirant,
    -The Civil Service exams are conducted annually by the UPSC.The exams are conducted in three phases,namely,
    //The Preliminary Exams.
    //The Mains Exams.
    //The Interviews.
    You have to clear the preliminary exams to proceed to the mains.
    -The critical part of the Mains exams are choosing the two optional subjects for them,as they carry as high as 1200 marks.
    Hence,you need to be very cautious.
    -Being a Graduate in Veterinary Science,beyond any doubt your first choice should be going for VETERINARY SCIENCE AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY.
    It features among the list of optional subjects,and you having studied this subject for a period of not less than three years,you would be of Good Knowledge of the subject.The syllabus won't be new to you,and a little bit of extensive study would do you all goods in it.
    -As for the SECOND optional subject you have to choose,I would personally recommend you to go for an Arts Subject.
    -The Arts subjects including INDIAN HISTORY,PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION,GEOGRAPHY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE are very scoring.Hey have been the key to success even for the Non-Arts students.
    -Adding to this,they form a core part in the Paper-I of the Preliminary Exams.Hence,you will be preparing for both altogether,saving a lot of time for you.
    -But the final call must be by your gut feeling and interest.Take your time,as choosing the best subjects would get half your job done.
    -Once you have done this,Improve your writing skills.Get rid of your Grammatical and Spelling errors.Practice subjective type answers,preferably essays.
    -Solve a lot of model papers and previous years question papers on those two subjects.
    -If you use your time well and go on with a positive attitude in the correct direction,You will definitely succeed.
