Sorry friend, Girls can not apply for the NDA exam to go in defense service.

UPSC don't allow the girls to be appear in NDA exam.

If you want to apply for the defense service you can appear in CDS exam.

UPSC conducts the CDS exam for the following academy of defense

Army academy

Naval academy

Air force academy

Officer Training academy


but girls only allowed for the OTA.

You should be graduated in any stream from recognized university or its equivalent.

You must be in age of 19 to 25 years.

You must be the citizen of India.

Girl are not eligible for NDA exam.

For NDA only Unmarried Male candidate are eligible

There are not recruitment for female candidate for NDA

You can apply CDS Exam if you are Graduate

Sorry friend but girls are not eligible for NDA & NA Exam, since National Defence Academy doesn't recruit girls.
NDA & NA Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of male candidates in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force wings of NDA.

If you are so eager to join Defence then don't be upset you can apply for CDS Exam after graduation.
CDS Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Naval Academy (NA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Officers Training Academy (OTA).

The eligibility criteria for CDS Exam are as follows:
Nationality:
The candidate must be Indian.

Age Limit: Male candidates (Unmarried) of age between
(i) For IMA: 19-24 years.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: 19-22 years.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: 19-23 years.
(iv) For OTA: Male candidates (married or unmarried) of age between 19-25 years.
(v) For OTA: Unmarried Women of age between 19-24 years.

Educational Qualification:
(i) For I.M.A. and OTA: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Final year students can also apply.

A girl cannot apply for NDA because in NDA exam UPSC invites application for male candidates only. So you are not eligible for it. If you want to join defense than you have many other options. You can go for CDS exam which is also conducted by UPSC but you should be graduate for this. Age limit for CDS is 19 to 24.You can also join Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army without CDS because these forces personally invites applications for female candidates and recruit them. So go on the website of these forces and apply when they invites application.

Hi,As far as girls are not allowed for NDA stands for National Defence Academy is concern this is coz National Defence Academy doesn't recruit girls,girls do not fulfill such criteria which should be required for NDA CANDIDATE only male unmarried candidate can apply for same for Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force wings of NDA,Girls can join the defense services through CDSE after graduation,by applying for the OTA-Officers Training AcademyYou cannot apply for NDA now but after passed 12th you canGood Luck.....

NDA exam for the Unmarried male candidates only. It is not for the Girls .Girls can eligible to apply for the NDA exam. If you want to join the Indian defence field there are number of the ways for you. First you have to complete the graduation from the recognized college .Then you are eligible for the Indian Navy Logistics Branch.

Education Qualification : You have to complete the Graduation in the B.Sc /B.Com / ICWA / catering technology

You can apply for the

Education
ATC
in the Indian Navy department.

# Naval Architecture Cadre � You can also apply for the Naval Architecture cadre in the Indian Navy .The Naval Architecture Cadre is part of the Technical Branch

Education Qualification � You have to complete the graduation in the field Mechanical / Civil / Naval Architecture etc.

Age limit - For the Final year candidates 19-24 years and for the pre-final year candidates 18.5-23.5 years

NO A GIRL CAN NOT APPLY FOR THE UPSC NDA EXAM.

The girls are not allowed for NDA,well there are certain criteria which is necessary to apply for the NDA,but girls do not fulfill such criteria.
Girls can join the defense services through CDSE after graduation,by applying for the OTA-Officers Training Academy.

But for now ,you are not applicable,complete your graduation and then there will be numerous options for you to join the defense services.

can 12 appearing girl register for nda ... if not then plzz telll from where can they apply for NDA when 12 is passed......
why is such a thing for girl... girl should also be allowed for NDA .... plzzz tell when and how can a girl apply for NDA???
