yes .dear you can give upsc exam in gujarati ,for in schedule - 8 you can write answer in gujarati but in english compulsory paper you must be write anser in english.. best of luck.

See my friend ...UPSC is belongs to central government not belongs to state government so the exam will be held either english or hindi or both.....Certainly any central government exam will be in both english and hindi papers so there is not allowed to writhe mother tongue...sorry to say my friend but i have to encourage you go for english because any exam should possible to give in english only so that is why ....any way all the best my friend...

-Sorry,but there is no provision to write the exams conducted by the UPSC in Gujarati.
-The two languages you can opt for,while writing the UPSC exams are either ENGLISH or HINDI,as English is more frequent,connective and used to all.On the other hand Hindi is the national language.
-You can opt for Gujarati only as the optional subject in Language,during the Mains exams of the Civil Services conducted by the UPSC,where along with the optional language subject,you opt for two other subjects,for the Mains,which carry 1200 marks.
-Hence,I would recommend you to prepare for the examinations,either in Hindi or in English,according to your convenience.

No dear; The question papers will be set only in Hindi and English. So better start working on English

you can give the upsc civil service exam in any language. it is your choice.
