Dear you don't need to go anywhere to get the previous years question papers for UPSC - Indian Engineering Service - Mechanical Branch because below i have attached some question papers of previous 4 years for your required subject for IES preparation so please download all the question papers and prepare well for your examination

Examination Pattern for Indian Engineering Service Exam 2013 :

There would be following 5 papers conducted in the complete examination which are following as :

Paper - 1 - Objective Type - General English and General Studies - 200 Marks

Paper - 2 - Objective Type - Your Selected Specialization Subject - 200 Marks

Paper - 3 - Objective Type - Your Selected Specialization Subject - 200 Marks

Paper - 4 - Conventional Type - Your Selected Specialization Subject - 200 Marks

Paper - 4 Conventional Type - Your Selected Specialization Subject - 200 Marks

Total number of papers -5 for 1000 marks and you will get 2 hours for each objective type paper and 3 hours for each conventional type paper

Interview Process : Interview would be conducted only after qualifying all the papers and it has 200 marks

Go to this website click on Previous Question Paper tab

Select which year question paper you want click that link

Select your subject and click them

2012 IES Examination was already completed and Next announcement will be publish in the month of March or April in the official website of UPSC as well as employment news papers also .

Eligibility ::

-->> Engineering degree required to apply for IES Examination .
-->> You must having the minimum age of 21 years and maximum age of 30 years .
-->> Upper age limits is applicable .
-->> Final year of engineering degree may also eligible to apply .
