You can apply for the UPSC examination in all areas of country. You should log on to www.upsconline.nic.in for online application otherwise if you want to go for offline application then you should buy the application form at post-office.

The notification of UPSC exam 2013 is not coming yet. So, The duration of exam of UPSC for IAS/IPS is as follows:

Date for filling up application: 5 March 2012 Approx February-March Month.

Date of Notification: 4 Feb 2012 Approx February Month.

Date of Examination:

For Prelims 20 May 2012 Approx May month.

For Mains 5 October 2012 Approx October Month.
