Can I apply for MPSC exams at the age of 33? What is the age limit?

Sir,

I am commercial artist. Completed B.F.A. (Bachelor of Fine Art) degree in 2001.
My birth date is 22nd May 1979. I want to apply for MPSC exams. My question is,

1) Is I am able for exam in this age, as I am in open category?
2) In which field my education in art will be used after this exam?

In this case if I am not qualify for MPSC exams then how can I serve the Government by working in Government office?

Dear Friend,

MPSC stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission.It is a state level exam.

Age Limit :

General Category : 21-33 years
BC Category : 21- 35 years
SC/ST Category : 21-38 years

If you belongs to SC/ST category then you are eligible for that exam .

Qualification Required :

Candidate must be passed his/her graduation from any recognized university and also can apply in last year of graduation.

at this age you can only apply for mpsc exam if you are from pd category, since the age limits are-
general- 21 to 30
obc- 21 to 33
sc/st- 21 to 35
pd- 21 to 40

Hello Dear,

MPSC stands for Maharashtra Public Service commission. This is the state public service commission exam.

If you are belong from SC/ST category then you have only one chance.

for appearing this exam there are some eligibility criteria

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should be Graduate from recognized university, a candidate who are appearing final year exam of the graduation can also apply for MPSC exam

Age limit is

for general candidate minimum 21 to 33 year
for OBC candidate 21 to 35
for SC/ST candidate 21 to 38

I am really sorry to say this you are not eligible to apply for the exam

Since you are age is above the limited age you are not eligible to apply for that

your age is more than that is needed

And the minimum age is 21 years

Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

Of course there will be an age relaxation for the reserved candidates

Hi,

I am very very sorry to say that you cannot sit for the exam sine your age in way above 30 years.
The upper age limit for the General category is 30 while for SC/ST,the upper age limit has a relaxation of 5 years.

So don't get disheartened.

MPSC stands for the Maharashtra Public Service commission.It is conducted by the state government of Maharashtra.

The various requirements for the MPSC exam is as below:

1.Academic requirement:

>>You need to have bachelor's degree in an y discipline from a recognised university.Final year candidates are also allowed to give the examinations.

2.Age limitations:

The minimum age limit for any category is 19 years.The upper age limit depends upon the category to which you belong:

General:33 years

OBC:35 years

SC/ST: 38 years.

Since you are 38 years old and if you belong to sc/st then you might get a chance to appear for the MPSC exam other wise not.

For General 21-30 years
For OBC 21-33 years
For SC/ST 21-35 years

The age limit for the MPSC and UPSC exam is the
21 -30 years for the unreserved category
21-35 years for the SC/ST category
21-33 years for the OBC category.
10 years age relaxation for the physical handicapped
According to your age you are not eligible for the exam.
So you continue with present job.
