    Hi dear

The attempts for each UPSC Exams are counted Separately i.e. if you have attempted the Civil Services Exam twice and Engineering Services Exam once, then this will be stated as you have completed 2 attempts of Civil Services Exam and 1 attempt of Engineering Services Exam.

You will also be glad to know that restriction on number of attempts is allowed only for two UPSC Exams.

    These two UPSC Exams are:
    #Civil Services Exam
    #Indian Forest services Exam

The number of attempts allowed in these Exams for different categories are:

    ~General Category: 04 attempts
    ~OBC : 07 attempts
~SC/ST : No restriction on number of attempts.

    Good luck.......
