For the Acp post you have to give the upsc exam

You have to give the Civil services exam in which

This post includes under the Indian Police Service

For the exam here is the full criteria required:

Educational: The aspirant should be pass in graduation

from a recognized indian university

Age : the age should be 21-30 for the open category

And relaxation for the obc and for sc.st also of 3 and 5 years

The Physical Required

Eye: The eyes should be 6 by 6 wearing glasses or

with out wearing the glasses

Height Required And other :

Female :150cm.
Male :165cm.


Chest Male:84cm.
Female :79cm.
Their will be relaxation for the reserve category of 5 cm

To become a ACP, you have to qualify the UPSC's CSAT examination and select the IPS for it. you have to just qualify the basic physical test, i.e, height, chest and eye sight. The height for male is 165cm and for female is 150cm. There is also relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates upto 5cm less. The chest for male is 84 cm and on Expansion is upto 5cm and for female 79 cm and on expansion is upto 5cm. The eye sight must be 6/12 or 6/9 distant vision for worse eyes adn 6/6 and 6/9 for good eyes. The near vision is j1 for good eyes and j2 for worse eyes. Best of Luck

dear friend,

to become ACP through UPSC you have to give Civil Services Exam that is conducted by UPSC and select IPS cadre .
so for ACP physical test is same as for IPS .

Physical Requirements for ACP:

Height :

for Male : 165 cm.
for Female : 150 cm.
and there is relaxation for OBC and SC/ST in Height Upto 5 cm.
Male : 160 cm
Female : 145 cm


Chest :

Male : 84 cm and on Expansion +5 cm
Female : 79 cm and on expansion +5cm

Eye Sight :

your Eye Sight must be 6/12 or 6/9 distant vision for Worse eyes and 6/6 or 6/9 for Good Eyes .
Near vision j1 for Good Eyes and j 2 for Worse Eyes.
