    after completing you graduation in engineering you can apply for upsc ies exam. you can apply online at upsc.gov.in and also get forms from head post office. you can get the notifications of exams from upsc.gov.in or ffrom employment daily.
    the age limit for general is 21 to 30.

    Hi Aspirant,

    Friend you can apply for IES exam after completing engineering.

    UPSC organizes the IES exam for the engineer posts of central government.


    Required Qualification

    You must have bachelor degree in B. Tech or BE

    Only candidates from following stream can apply for IES exam

    Mechanical

    Civil

    Electrical

    Electronics and Telecommunications


    Age should be 21 to 30 years

    Age relaxation as per government norms

    OBC + 3 years

    SC/ST + 5 years

    PH + 10 years

    You must be Indian.



    Dates of IES exam

    Notification date: 18/8/2012

    Last date of application: 17/9/2012

    In this year IES exam will be held on 1/12/2012



    You can apply for IES exam through Online and Offline application

    For online application you can make registration through UPSC website

    http://upsconline.gov.in

    Here you can complete registration in two parts.

    Payment can be made through net banking, Debit card and SBI challan.


    For offline registration you should purchase application form from head post office and fill the basic details, paste your photo and CRF stamp and send to the prescribed address.

    you can apply yo visit the www.upsconline.nic.in As now UPSC only take application of the IES only through the ONLINE mode. so you have only this option of apply for the examination whenever there is floating of the application by upsc for this examination do visit the link.

    As this years application have been closed ,so you can fill the next years application which is expected to float in febuary 2013.

    do regularily visit www.upsc.gov.in


    ONLINE MODE

    -> visit www.upsconline.nic.in
    ->> part-I registration

    fill all the details asked in this mode.,if you want fee pay through cash then click on the link which appear below after susscessfully filling of part-I registration

    ->>> otherwise click part-II
    enter registration I.D & DATE of BIRTH
    then select the mode of payment offline or online (for online pay through debit/master/visa/online banking)
    proceed for the upload of photo & signature
    click submit then you got a message after succesfull registration.

    Yes,

    you can eligible for applying posts of Indian Engineering Services(IES) must complete Engineer Graduation from any recogn

    This year 2012 IES applications last date is over ....

    so,better to apply next year....

    - You can apply for IES exam only online.
    -
    Visit www.upsconline.nic.in & fill the application form
    -
    DOB should not be earlier than 2nd January, 1982 and not later than 1st January, 1991.
    - You must be a graduate in Engineering from a recognized university in Electronics/Civil/Mechanical/Electrical. Even Final year students can also appear in IES exam.

    you can apply for IES.
    you are eligible.
    usually notification comes in the month of feb/mar every year.
    visit www.upsc.gov.in frequently for information regarding exam date,syllabus,etc.,

    dear friend,

    minimum eligibility criteria for IES(Indian engineering services) exam is

    you must complete or appearing in final year of graduation from recognized college or university.
    your age must be within 21 years to 30 years. And there is some relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates.

    Dear Applicant,
    -YES! You are definitely eligible to apply for the INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE Exams conducted annually by the UPSC.
    -All candidates who hold a Bachelors in Engineering are eligible to apply.
    -The IES exams are conducted in June,and happen for a period of Three days.
    -The notifications of the release of application forms are out in February.
    -The complete ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS for the IES exams are mentioned below-
    {01} NATIONALITY.
    You must be a citizen of India,
    or,You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
    or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India,before 1962.
    {02} AGE LIMITS.
    You must be 21 To 30 Years of age.
    However,the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 Years for SC/ST and Ex-servicemen & by 3 Years for the OBC and Physically Disabled.
    {03} EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS.
    You must hold a degree in engineering in any stream,from a recognized university.
