    Dear Friend,
    IES stands for the Indian Engineering services examinations.Bcahelor's degree in engineering is the minimum requirement for this examinations. Age limit is 21-30 years for general, 3 &5 years relaxations applicable to obc and sc/st respectively.

    I think IES Civil Service by Arihant Publication and Engineering Services Examination by G.K Publishers these two books you should be refer for IES exam (Civil).

    There are lot of books are available in the local market which proved to be quite helpful for the preparation of UPSC Examinations. Here below names of some books which are useful for IES Examination are: * Hydrology by Subramanyam * Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics by R.K. Bansal * Structural Analysis by Negi & S Ramamurtham *Solve out model or old question papers as many as possible.

    IES Stands for Indian Engineering Services.Yes sure you can clear this exam in one time, everyone knows that civil services exam is toughest exam in India.
    But if your preparation is best then you don't need to worry.

    Which books should I refer for IES exam (Civil)?

    sir,
    I am a final year student of civil engineering.I am a ST category student. for english and for general studies which book to be referred and which part of core subject to be read carefully. are their any chance remaining to clear this examination as a fresher. My fundamental of all subject is clear at all, i need guide for this examination because i don't know much more about this examination questions , how it is difficult for clear in first chance. how hard work to be required now, help me please....
