For IPS, you need to give the civil service exam only which is conducted once in a year by UPSC on national basis. Notification for this exam will be released in the month of February every year. We hope that very soon UPSC invites application for this exam and you can apply online through the website www.upsc.gov.in

To become an IPS officers candidate must have to crack the CSAT exam. CSAT exam is conducted by UPSC.

to become an IPS officer
you have to apply for the upsc civil services examination.

form for this exam are available as soon as the notification for the upsc civil services examination is released by upsc.
normally the notification for the upsc civil services examination is released in the month of feb or march.

at that time of the year
the forms for this examination will available at the head post offices and
on the official upsc website www.upsconline.nic.in

you can fill the form for this examination using any of the way you are comfortable with.
