Hello friends, YES , YOU CAN WRITE TO THE CPF AC EXAM.----------- 1st---The age limit for the central police force is 20-25 years. 2nd---there are relaxations of age in certain areas 5 year upper age relaxation for the SC/ST,ex-government employees. 3 years for thr OBC. 10 yrars for the P.H. candidate. As you were in army,you can apply for the exam as an ex-government employee.

CPF AC : >age limit is 20-25 years >you mention you are currently working in Army. you are come ex-serviceman category.in ex-service man category 5 years age relaxation is applicable.so upto 30 years of age you are applicable to apply CPF AC. all the best-

Eligibility Criteria To apply for UPSC CAPF AC Examination 2013 : Candidate should posses a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university Age should not be less than 20 years and more than 25 years and relaxation in upper age as : 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 5 years for ex-servicemen category candidates Dear you are already in relevant service means you may get the relaxation in upper age and that would be for five years means you are definitely eligible to apply for CAPF AC exam till the age of 30 years after getting relaxation and you can apply for this exam between these following dates : Start date for online application : 06-07-2013 Last date for online application : 05-08-2013 Date for UPSC CAPF AC exam : 20-10-2013 Dear you have more than 8 months to prepare for this exam and if you want to really become assistant commandant then you should follow these steps : If possible then you should write an application for your study leave because with your current service and job you would not be able to prepare for this exam due to the work load and you should send your application to the head or chief of your section and ask him for support at the high level officers and army and if you would mention your actual problem then they would definitely help you out for your bright future If you get the study leave for 8 months then you should go to any good reputed coaching institute and study hard and you should ask to the teacher that, i want to complete my study and syllabus within 6 months and then i would take 2 months of practice because practice is everything which may take you to the selection You should also give at least 6 hours for study after coaching institute and practice in the coaching so that you could not forget anything about your study and you could make your speed faster and fastest to solve the complete paper You should try to solve at least 2-3 practice papers everyday and if possible then you should purchase some books and get some previous years question papers and get the knowledge about the examination then prepare hard for this exam You should not fear from the study and never keep pessimistic thoughts in your mind and think always that you are going to become an Assistant Commandant in your army sector and after that you could serve well I have attached some question papers of previous years of this exam please download and i also have attached the complete syllabus in notification please download and prepare well for this exam All the best

The age limit for the central police force is 20-25 years,but there are relaxations of age in certain areas 5 year upper age relaxation for the SC/ST,ex-government employees. 3 years for the OBC. 10 years for the physically handicapped candidates. As you were in army,you can apply for the exam as an ex-government employee.
