Hello friends,

I eligible to appear in UPSC exam being a physically disable person-
If your disability is more than 40% then you can avail reservation meant for PH.
If it is less than 40%, you will be regarded a belonging to your community category and reservation to that category will be applied, if any.

Reservation:
SC/ST ~ 22.5%
OBC(non-creamy) ~27%

now you understand that.

For defense service you are not eligible for the exam because they want physically fit member. But for other exam you are eligible and if physically disabled certificate more than 40% than you got reservation in the category of PH. But you need to show certificate.

The UPSC conducts many exams related to the defense services,civil services,medical services of our country.It is highly important that the aspirants must be physically and mentally both fit,actually it is not about the UPSC exams,but you can understand that fitness is required for every small and big purpose in life.It is unfortunate that you are physically challenged,after all everything is not under our control.

The exams that you can apply for (UPSC) are few in number,but those are prestigious jobs.

a)SCRA(Special Class Railway Apprentice)-the candidates are selected for the mechanical engineering,at the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical engineering,if you get selected then will be appointed as the officers in the Indian railways.

b)Civil services
IAS,IPS,IFS etc.
All these exams are conducted by the UPSC,they have huge prestige and respect in the society.

c)CMS(Combined Medical Services)-if you had any medical background then you can apply for it,you will be appointed in the various government hospitals.

yes, u can definatly apper in upsc exam at this position expect indian army , airforce because it requires physical test passed candiate so may be they will to take u ...


or if u have certificate that u can listen very well and all den they can take u.

In case of navy or air force or indian army it may need physically clear otherwise they wont allow u .

any other requirement of UPSC u can easily attend exam and also u have physical disabled certificate that u can listen everything so it is ok with it ,,

and u can do it..

i wanna ask you that i am physically disabled to my one ear but i am able to listen and can perform every activity .AM i eligible to appear in upsc exam.
