The time management is very much necessary in UPSC exams.
You should 1st solve the paper that is easy for you,that you think that you can easily do and then go for the difficult one.

You can get a good marks in that way.
Try to solve the previous years question papers so as to get experience in solving them.

As much as you solve the previous years question papers you can get more experience in solving them.
You try to increase the time in solving the practice papers and that will help you very much in your exam.

dear if you want to clear civil service exam then you will be sincere about your study. Daily will give 4-5 hours for your study. If you don't manage your time then make an schedule according to your daily routine except working time you can manage time for your study. So, guys be punctual of time.

Well dear if you mant to go for civil services then time management becomes a very important thing for this level of exam.you should equally distribute your time in preparing for the optional subjects and the compulsary subjects.you should give sufficient time to prepare for general studies as it has so many subjects immerged in it.you should at least to give one hour to newspaper to keep in touch with current affairs.

civil services is one of the most important and exams conducted by upsc. to prepare for such an exam is not a simple job to handle. i am really glad that many of the INDIAN students are going to try for this exam.your question is really good haw to manage the time during the preparation for the upsc civil services exam. first please keep in mind that you have to work really hard to reach success. the success rate of this exam is very low .time is the most precious thing that once gone can never be brought back so its management is necessary .to mange your time you can follow a time table in which you can divide your time for different subjects according to your command in different subject. for example if you have a good command over general knowledge so you can reduce its time and use this time for some other subject in which think you have to more .in your time table you can also add some rests for short duration in which you can refresh your mind b taking a walk or listening some soft music.this maintain your focus over your preparation without making you tired of the studies.also during your preparation you should avoid wastage of time in watching television or doing some other thing that is not at all related to your goal. along with that during your preparation you do not forget your academics also as they will make you eligible for the exam give proper time to your academics also.at last i would say be cool and calm.be concentrated and focused about your goal you will surely be successful to make your dream come true .

dear while solving the question paper you must keep thing in your mind that you have limited time to solve the whole question paper,
so you should solve first of all those question that seems easy and which will consume less time and at the end you can attempt those question which will consume time ,
in the staring you should not waste your time in any single question if you found that question easy and less time consuming then go for it otherwise move further.

Hi friend!

In these kind to competitive exams, time management plays an important role. Firstly you need to know, in which topics you are good and in what topics you're not.

Then first go with latter one on which you do not know. Prepare a perfect plan based on your timings.

You'll definitely fail to manage time on writing essays like most people do. So prepare writing them at home itself by practicing, Keep a watch beside you and start to write a essay, check in how much time you're able to complete that essay. Then you'll know, where you've wasted your time and don't do that next time.

More and More rehearsals are also important.

Everyone prepares a time table but no-one executes it, if he/she does,then he/she will become success in his/her life.

So proper planning and executing the plan are more important. Then go according to the plan.

"No-one in the world is a better teacher than you". So write your own principles.

And one more place where time consumes is at 'data interpretation' which needs a lot of practice so that you can answer within second in the exam.

and we get upset .
for time management :-
1. preparation .
2. read news paper .
3. solve previous years paper .
4. in this questions you think that you do correctly that questions do first in this way you save your time.

increase your general knowledge, continuous reading news papers and magazines, concentrate on English.

i would suggest you to solve as many previous year question paper in the same time limit prescribed by upsc

if you want to go foe the civil service exam then the time management and the relevant books are very important to study.
devote your time to study in such a way so that you prepare your all subjects of study such as history, economics, general English and current affairs. beside it you must have to regular update yourself with the current affairs and current happenings.the civil services have more responsibility towards the society so try to enhance your decision making skills and work hardly and smartly to crack the exam.

Try to solve the previous year question papers of the civil services examination.Some online mock tests are also available on internet for the prelims!Concentrate more on Indian History,geography,political science,economics,current affairs as since the exam is for a job that involves managng Indian administration you must have a concrete knowledge about your country.Good Luck!
