Hi
You cannot write the civils being in the second year of your graduation. You can only write this exam when you have either completed your degree or if you are in your final year of graduation.
Therefore for giving the civil services examination, you need to be in the final year of your graduation.
Moreover it is also very important that you are doing your graduation from a recognized indain university. And your age should be in between 21-30 years.

Distance education is not much of a problem while applying for the upsc exam. All you need is a degree from a recognized indian university therefore just make sure that the university in which you are enrolled in, is a recognized private university.
The main eligibility criteria for giving the upsc exam is that you need to be a graduate in any stream from a recognized indian university and your age should be in between 21-30 years.
Moreover there is an age relaxation of 3 and 5 years given to the obc and the sc/st category respectively.

In order to appear for civil service exam you have to wait for 1 more year as minimum qualification to appear is graduate in any course.

yes, you can .
If you have completed your graduation's second year then you can apply for this exam.
You can apply in your graduations final year.
But after this you have to complete your graduation with 54% min. marks.
Then you can eligible for the upsc exam.

No, you can not apply for civil services in 2nd year of graduation.

Wait for one more year. In the last year of graduation you can apply for civil services examination.

For civil services only that candidate are eligible which has completed his/her graduation and also can apply in last year of graduation.

Other Requirements :

Candidate must be under 21-30 years.

Candidate must be citizen of India.

Male/Female both are eligible.

Dear aspirant,
You can only apply for the civil services examination if you have completed graduation from a recognised university as it is the major requirement to apply for the same.
Eligibility criteria-
1) graduation in any discipline from a recognise university.
2) age should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 30 years. Age relaxation offered for those who are SC/ST 5 years, for OBC 3 years of age .
3) to clear this examination you need to clear the examination. This examination consist of two steps.
a) written test.
i) CSAT examination includes two papers with 200 marks each.
ii) MAINS examination consist 2000 marks.
b)personal interview.

Please make sure that without qualifying the written test you cannot go for the interview as you need to clear all the papers with good marks to get a at least place in the list.

No to get eligibility for Civil services you are to follow UPSC procedures.

Eligibility/Procedures:-

1.A graduate or a final year candidate from a recognized university can apply Civil serves.

2.civil Services exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

3.Age: Gen: 21-30 years, relaxations for OBC 3 years S/c S/T 5 years.

4.Attempts;Gen: 4 OBC 7 (Attempts are allowed to finish CSE within these chances)S/C S/T: No limit.

5.Nationality: Indian

***There are 3 years B.COM degree courses if your final year is 2nd then you are eligible for to sit for CSE now notification is open you can do online registration.

Age limit are:

For Civil Service Exam you must be Graduate any stream from any recognized university

Or Final year student can also apply for this examination

Age must be between 21-30 years

Age relaxation for OBC 3 year

SC/ST 5 years

Ex-servicemen +5 years

So dear all the first you should complete your graduation after then you can apply for IAS

Well mine friend, yes you are eligibe for Civil services even in B.Com 2nd year from distnace learning but there's a condition :

The condition is your course must have approval from DEC.

Other Eligiblity criteria are :

>> Age must be in mid of 21 to 30

>> No of attempts are 4

>> you must be Indian Citizen

No, you cannot give IAS exam, while in second year.

You can give it in the final year of graduation.

Degree achieved from a distant learning course is acceptable.

For IAS exam , you sould be -

A graduate ( regular or part time) from a recognised university.

your age should be between 21 years to 30 years.

So, you will be eligibel when you fulfill both the essential criteria.

You are not eligible for the exam while pursuing graduation in the 2^nd year.
Upsc requirements the candidate must have graduate in any stream from the approved university
When you are appearing in the final year or wait the final year result then you are eligible for the exam.
The age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30 years
Age relaxation for the reserve category.
So wait and start your preparation for the exam.
The exam conducts every year. Preliminary exam held in the month of the May and main exam held in the month of October/November

The eligibility criteria is as follows :-

1. A graduation degree is a must
2. You must be an Indian Citizen
3. Your degree should be from a recognized university
4. Your Age should be between 20-30
5. Relaxation to those who belong to SC,ST,OBC
6. Attempts are limited
7. No minimum percentage is essential
8. Finals year students are also eligible

So now you have seen that you are completing the course now and that too you are in Final year only so its better you first complete your graduation because as of now you are not eligible for the course.

Your distance degree will not trouble you so do not worry about that.

No, you are not eligible to write civil services exams right now while doing your 2nd year, but after completion of your degree or during final year you are eligible to give civil services exam.

The eligibility required to give these exams is any degree from recognized university.

Your degree should be valid and it should be from a recognized university.

No matter whether your degree is through regular or distance mode.

You need to satisfy the age criteria also to be eligible for these exams.

The minimum age should be 21 years and maximum should be 30 years for general category.

There is upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

3 years relaxation for OBC Category.

5 years relaxation for SC/ST Category.

10 years relaxation for PWD/Ex-servicemen.

Generally UPSC conducts written exam for entrance into civil services for various posts like IAS,IPS,IFS,IRS, etc.

You are not eligible to apply for UPSC Civil Services Exams(CSE) being in 2nd year of B.Com.
You can apply to UPSC CSE in your final year of graduation on provision.
A degree in any stream from a recognised University even through distance learning
mode is also acceptable qualification to apply for CSE.
UPSC CSE is one of the toughest exam at the All India Level.
CSE is conducted by UPSC every year to make recruitments to 24 services/posts.
Some of the posts are IAS,IFS,IPS,etc.Posts are allotted based on the rank in the merit list.

Dear if you are willing to apply for civil service exam then you should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and final year pursuing candidates are also eligible to apply for this exam and age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age would be provided as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen category candidates

Dear according to your qualification you have mentioned, you have not completed your 12th class yet and applied for graduation through distance more and also pursuing 2nd year of the degree so that dear for your kind information that you are not eligible for this exam because without completion of your 12th class you may not apply and if you will apply for this exam then also your application would not be accepted by the board and in case of the accepting your application and after qualifying the exam you would not be allowed to appear for interview process.

Dear not only civil services but also any other government sector would not accept your application for any grade job and the case also may be filed against you that if you would apply for any job without your complete study so that dear you should go back to the school or board and apply for 12th class again and complete it then you would be eligible to apply for any government job.
