tips for solving paper:

1.getting a grip on maths and english is first step as these are the most important subjects

2.you should also know the time managing

3.solving multiple question papers will lead to the better time management

4.basics also play a major role in solving the question paper

5.practice previous question papers

6.you should be accurate with your answers

7.make a timetable for 3 revisions

8.you must train your mind to think logically,rationally and clearly

9.general awreness is very important

10.read the current affairs

Se the CDS exam will consists of total 3 sections i.e-

1.English knowledge

2.elementary mathematics

3.general awareness.


All the three sections will carry 100 marks each.


so you need to prepare for each of the section well to crack the exam.
scoring good in all the three sections will only lead you to succeed in the exam.
i have uploaded a pdf file which contains the details and the syllabus of the CDS exam.you can get it from the attachments.
you should prepare for the exam , all the topics which hare mentioned in it.

Dear Friend

The acronym CDS stands for the Combined defence services.Best exam for candidates who want join defence at graduation level.The age limit is 19-25 years.This examination is conducted twice every year.

First of all try to analyse the previous year question papers so as to get an idea that what type questions are really asked in CDS examinations.

You can find the previous year question papers on www.upsc.gov.in.However you may buy a books which contains previous ten years question papers.
