Yes definitely you can apply for Civil Services Examination. Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates for the post of IAS, IRS, IPS.

The basic eligibility criteria for Civil Services Exam are as follows:
The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university
Maximum number of attempts permitted for General Category is 4.
Nationality should be Indian.
The age limit criteria is as follows:
General 21-30 yrs
SC/ST 21-35 yrs
OBC 21-33 yrs
PH 21-40 yrs

Yes, you can apply for civil service exam according to date of birth bcoz for OBC candiates age criteria is 21-33 yrs. and according to your dob your age now 32 yrs. then offcourse you can apply for it.

Dear friend ,Yes you can eligible for Civil services examinations conducted by UPSC .This examination is generally held for the different services like: Indian Police services Indian Administrative services Indian Foreign services I will tell you about no of attempts for civil services examinations.It is category based.It totally depends upon the caste or category towhich you belong: General candidates get only four attempts Obc get seven attempts SC/ST has great advantage in terms of no of attempts as they can appear for any no of times during their age limit. yes you can apply for the exam as your age will be 32 so there is also relaxation given for OBC.The age limit for OBC is

Yes sure you can apply for the civil services exam, as there is a age relaxation to the OBC candidates, for general category age requirement is 21 to 30 years, age relaxation for OBC is 3 years and for SC/ST is 5 years, so hurry up right now the notifications are out and you can apply online till 4 march 2013. Educational qualification required for the same is graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.You should know that there are the written exam you need to clear first to get the call for interview.First exam will be CSAT civil services aptitude test. After that you need to clear the MAINS for the interview.Believe me competetion for the same is very much tough as the vacancies are very less, so you need to prepare good for the same, because this will be the last chance for you after this you cannot apply for the same as your age limit will cross the limit.For more details please log on to www.upsc.gov.in Thank you

Yes, you can apply for Civil Service Exam being a OBC candidate

There is age limit for General 21-30 year

Age relaxation for OBC candidate is 3 year

So OBC candidate's age limits are 21-33 year

Therefore you can apply for Civil Service Exam this time

Yes, you are Eligible for Civil services examination as your age is more than minimum Required.

Well, mine friend as you know that Civil Services is an examination conducted BY UPSC.

And we all know that UPSC stands for Union Public Service commission.


Eligibility criteria for UPSC examinations :


>> First and Foremost of all, you must have Graduation degree from any recognised College/University from UGC

>> Your age must be in mid of 21 to 30( General )

The different age criteria for the different categories are as follows
a)The general category age limit is 21 to 30 years.
b)The age limit for the OBC candidates are 21 to 33 years.
c)The age limit for the SC/ST is 21 to 35 years and the same for the ex-serviceman of the government sector.
d)The age limit for the physically handicapped candidates are 21 to 40 years.

UPSC Civil Services Exam(CSE) is conducted every year.
Recruitments are made to 24 services/posts through CSE.

Eligibility For CSE :

Age Limit :
General Category-21-30yrs on 1st August of the year of exam
OBC-21-33yrs
SC/ST-21-35yrs

Relaxation by+3yrs of the upper age limit in general category is applicable for OBC candidates.

If you belong to OBC category you can apply for CSE,given your D.O.B 25th May 1981.

Educational Qualification :
Graduation in any discipline from UGC recognised University.

Attempts :
General Category-4 times
OBC-7 times
SC/ST-Unlimited times

So you can apply for CSE if you meet all the above eligibility criteria.
