hi
yes dear you are eligible for giving the IES exam being a graduate in electronics and communication stream.
The eligibility for giving the IES exam si that you should be a graduate in any of the following engineering stream
1. Mechanical engineering
2. Civil engineering
3. Electrical engineering
4. ECE
And moreover your age limit for giving the exam is 21-30 years.
But there is a relaxation of 3 and 5 years given to the obc and the sc/st candidates repectively.

Dear friend,

Yes , sure you are eligible for Indian Engineering Services Examination.

For that examination you should be graduate in engineering and also can apply in last year of engineering graduation.

You can choose any one of engineering subject such as :-

Electronic and Telecommunication
Electrical
Mechanical
Civil

Your age must be under 21-30 years.

IES exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a year

IES Eligibility :

You must be Indian

Educational Qualification :

You must be complete Engineering in following stream

Civil Engineering

Age Limit :

Candidates min of age limit 21 years & max of age limit 30 years for general candidates

Yes,you can eligible to write IES(Indian Engineering Service) after B.tech (ECE).

Educational qualification :
The B.tech degree graduates like Electrical,civil,mechanical,Electronics & communication or equivalent are apply for IES.

Age:
For General category Not less than 21 year & not more than 30 year on 1st August on year of conduct the examination.
Upper age limit is also relaxed for SC/ST/OBC & certain others.

IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year.

If you have completed Engineering course from any discipline then also you are applicable for IES exam OR If you have M.Sc degree in Physics , Radio Physics then you are applicable for IES exam.Final year student also eligible for IES exam.

B-Tech student of ECE candidate are eligible for IES exam .

The applicant age should between 21 yrs to 30 yrs.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

Number of attempts for IES exam is for general student it is 4., for OBC it is 7 times. and for SC/ST it is 9 time.

Eligibility for Indian Engineering Services Exams 2013 :

Candidate must posses a bachelor's degree in engineering in any one of the following streams/disciplines

1. Chemical Engineering or 2. Civil Engineering or 3. Electrical Engineering or 4. Mechanical Engineering

Candidate those who are pursuing final year of the degree may also apply and if you have Electronics as your specialization subject in your B.Tech then you can apply for this exam

Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

Dates for upcoming Indian Engineering Services Exam 2013 :

Start date of online application - 16-03-2013

Last date of online application - 15-04-2013

Date declared for exam is - 28-06-2013
