Air maen is the higher rank post in Indian airforce which is of two types-
X- group and Y- group.
Eligibility for this post-
1. The candidate must have the graduation in any stram with minimum 60% marks.
2. Age limit is
19 to 25 years.

AIRMEN POST IN AIRFORCE is the post which non-gazetted type carrying the payband-1 scale along with military service pay of 2000 inr.

There is two types of airmen entry in airforce

1. group "X"
This post is meant for the technical entry as in soldier ,in which candidate must have done his 10+2 compulsarily physics,mathematics.

2.Group "y"
This post is for the non-technical entry in which there is no such restriction for the candidate on the basis of his 10+2 stream, it is open for all the candidates.

You can apply for Airman post in IAF through NDA & CDSE conducted by UPSC.

Basic eligibility required for NDA are:
- You are eligible for NDA after 10+2 exam.
-only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
-candidates appearing in 12th class can also apply.
- Age : From 19 Years to 24 years. Engineer graduates 20 to 27 years
- Degree. BA, B.Sc or B.Tech/BE
- No. of attempts is less than or equal to 4.

CDSE:
Eligibility Criteria for Air force :-

The candidates should have a 19 years to 23 years and only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
Graduate or Engineering degree from any recognized university or equivalent qualification with Physics and Mathematics in 12th level.
Candidates who are appearing in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination.
