you can apply civil services exam this year.

for obc category,

age limit is 21-33 years.

--you must be graduate from a recognized university

--there is no percentage requirement.

---you must be Indian citizen


this exam consist these stages;-

preliminary exam


mains exam

interview

after clearing these steps, you are eligible civil services post.

yes

you can apply for the UPSC exams this year because you are not reached at the age of 33 as prescribed by UPSC for OBC category candidate.

So you can apply in this time only after that you will not be able to apply for the civil service exams.

Yes, you can give the UPSC exam as you will not reach 33 yrs of age by 1 Aug' 2013. So, you are eligible to give the exam. But, I want to tell you that you should be in central list of OBC to avail this age concession and also you will get only ONE attempt to appear for civil services exam. So a tough call in my opinion. U.P.S.C --- UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

And as per my calculations ... you have still 8 MONTHS to complete your Eligibility criteria

So You are of course eligible to apply for the exam

Because the minimum age must be 21 years

Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years


OBC --- 3 years Relaxation

As you have 3 years age relaxation you can apply for it
