    Hi,
    yes of course you can apply for Civil Services Examination being a B.Tech Final year student but just make sure friend that the university from which you are doing your B.Tech should be recognized one.

    The basic eligibility criteria required for applying for Civil Services Examination are:-

    >The age limit is 21-30 years for Generalcandidates(4 attempts) with a relaxation in age of 3,5 and 5 years for OBC(7attempts),SC(unlimited attempts) and ST(unlimited attempts) candidates respectively.

    >You should have completed your graduation fromany stream but from a recognized university.

    >Candidates in their final year of graduation canalso apply for the same.

    >You should be a citizen of India.

    Appearing in final year candidates are also Eligilble for UPSC civil services exam.

    UPSC civil services exam a graduation degree from a Indian recognized University.

    Best civil services exam is for you IES (Indian Engineering Services )

    Age limit is 21-30 years. 3 Years age relaxation for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST category candidates.

    You must be Indian citizen and physically fit.

    There is no percentage requirement.

    UPSC civil services exam pattern;-

    Preliminary exam ,Mains exam and Interview

    Yes , sure last year graduation students are eligible for civil services examination.

    Civil services examination conducts by Union Public Service Commission once in every year.

    Engineering gradute are also eligible for Indian Engineering Services Examination.

    For civil services examination candidate must be under 21-30 years . 3 years of age relaxation for BC candidate and 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST candidate.

    There are no percentage barrier in civil service examination , If candidate just have passing marks in graduation are also eligible.

    Sorry to say at present you are not eligible for the exam because the qualification required

    Candidate must have graduate or pursuing in final year or pursuing in the last semester.

    When you are appear in the final semester then you are eligible for the exam.

    Age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30 years for unreserved category.

    Age relaxation for reserve category as per government rules.

    You don�t worry about your eligibility you are elgible next year for the civil service exam.

    Yes definitely a 4th year B.Tech student can apply for Civil Services Examination. The Educational Qualification criteria says that candidates from final year of graduation are eligible for the Exam so you are eligible.
    Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates for the post of IAS, IRS, IPS.

    The basic eligibility criteria for Civil Services Exam are as follows:
    The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university.
    Final year degree students are also eligible
    Degree obtained in distance mode is also eligible.
    The age limit is 21-30 yrs.
    The maximum number of attempts for General category is 4.
    The candidate should be Indian.

    Yes sure you can apply for civil services exams if you are appearing in final year or semester of your graduation but you must have at least 50% aggregate marks in previous years percentage and your expecting marks also should be more than 50% then you would be allowed to appear for UPSC - Civil services exam and your degree must be from a recognized university and there is a criteria for age also which is - 21-30 years means you should not be more than 30 years of age and when you are in SC/ST or OBC then you can claim for upper age relaxation according to government guidelines.

    Yes, as you become a passed out student/or a university graduate now, Candidates in their final years are also eligible to appear for the examination however they have to be in possession of degree/provisional at the time of interview.

    YES, you can give the exam.

    even you can choose any subject which is not of technical stream (EVEN there is no restriction of choosing any subject of your choice iirespective of your graduation field)


    you can either choose technical subject like physics,maths, electronics engg or non-technical subjects like history,geography ,sociology etc but you have to choose them among from the list of subjects from the notification of UPSC.
    (THOUGH THERE IS RESTRICTION OF SOME COMBINATION OF SUBJECTS).

    The eligibility criteria for appearing in UPSC exam is Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
    The Age limit for UPSC exam is 21 to 30 years on 1 August of Exam Year i.e. If you are appearing in 2012 UPSC exam then your age should between 2 August 1982 to 1 August 1991.
    You can apply for these examination online at www.upsconline.nic.in
    There are two types of written examination in UPSC.
    UPSC Prelim exam and UPSC Mains exam. You will appear in UPSC Prelim exam first in which Objective type Questions are asked from General English, General Studies etc.
    For UPSC Mains you have to choose Subjects. There are total 51 Optional Subjects in which 23 are from main subjects and 28 Language Subjects like Hindi, English, Bengali etc.

    Civil Service Exam Criteria :
    If you are in last year of your graduation or you complete your graduation then you can apply for the civil service exam .
    your age should be 21-30 for general cast , 21-33 for obc , 21-35 for sc/st / ex-serviceman .

    yes u can apply but it is possible only if you are in your final semister ,so that by the time upsc annonces irts results you must have all your graduation certificates with you.

    yes, you can apply for the job of civil service examination.

    The other qualification details are-
    1. candidate must have a degree for civil services or final year appearing candidate
    2. age limit should be 21 to 30 years
    3. candidate should have an indian citizenship

    their are three test candidate have to clear before getting a job

    prelims exam
    main exam
    personal interview.

    Yes you can apply for Civil services exam if you are able to provide your graduation certificate during interview.

    Required Qualification to appear for Civil Services Exam

    -You should have passed Graduation degree in any specialization from recognized Institute.
    -You are for civil service exam while in graduation final year.
    -UPSC Civil service exam has no restriction on graduation percentage.
    -Your Age should be within the limit of 21 to 23 years.
    -You must be a citizen of India.
